Roberts Travel Pad review

The Roberts Travel Pad delivers a portable Bluetooth pick-me-up, with fine sound from a well-designed package

Neat design Thoughtful features Clean and open sound Loads of detail

Not the most generous when it comes to bass weight

The Travel Pad has nice touches where features are concerned and although it might not deliver the most bombastic of sounds, it offers enough to hold your interest. See all our wireless speaker reviews

Great sound and great value

After reading other reviews, I decided to purchase one of these speakers. I new that with the Roberts name, the quality would be great. However wasn't convinced that sound quality would be as good as reported in the reviews. As I opened the box and...

Clear sound but bass rather weak.

Good price from RS (but not much cheaper than Amazon, from whom I prefer not to buy). Easy Bluetooth connection so I can play music from iPhone and iPad. Volume rather limited, and bass rather weak, so orchestral music sounds thin, considerably weaker...

Excellent value for rmoney

Performs well for a compact speaker and looks nice. Sound quality is not bad for its size, but don't expect hifi. I have an Audio Pro T3 which sounds superb, and I recommend that if you want outstanding audio quality in a portable bluetooth speaker,...

For the money a good outcome. Don't expect UE Boom output, they don't come close. For a bedroom or studio there fine, ideal for students in halls too.

Good battery life, slim discrete design, simple Bluetooth connection.

Handy speaker

Overall very pleased with this and it's simple to use. At high volume speakers rattle so not sure if this is a fault or I am just working it too hard?
