Riva Audio Turbo X review

You've probably never heard of Riva Audio. I hadn't. But this audio newcomer, founded by Rikki Farr , who's had a storied career in the music business, has created a higher-end portable Bluetooth speaker called the Turbo X. It's one of the best...

The Riva Turbo X delivers excellent sound for a portable Bluetooth speaker, offers strong battery life, and has a built-in speakerphone with echo cancellation. It's water-resistant and has a proximity sensor that allows you to wave your hand over the...

It's expensive, and you probably need to buy the optional $30 carrying case if you plan to take the speaker on the road; battery drains a little even when speaker isn't in use.

While it isn't a bargain at $350, the Riva Audio Turbo X is one of the loudest and best sounding compact Bluetooth speakers available.

Riva Turbo X review: This Bluetooth speaker goes to 11

The speaker's design is elegant and straightforward but -- from the outside, anyway -- it doesn't scream premium speaker. (I'm not huge fan of glossy finishes, and the Riva features shiny plastic on top.) The speaker comes in black or white and --...

Audio Innovation at its BEST!

I found this amazing little box from a network of associates who work in the audio solutions industry. This industry is pretty small because there are only a few solutions that offer premium audio transmission through bluetooth. In all likelihood, if you...

Fantastic sound. Without compare at the price point.

This speaker is fantastic. I hear detail in music that I have never heard from a bluetooth speaker. I like Pink Floyd's "Money"--you can hear every single coin drop. So, the detail is there.

Music fills a room, loud but beautiful. Real stereo from a box.

Not much... maybe the price, but good audio isn't cheap

They are truly the best sounding wireless speaker I have ever heard. Premium price, but premium product & quality.

You'd never guess that such premium sound quality was coming from such a small box. Pricey for a Bluetooth speaker, but I'd say pretty appropriate considering it you get the ability to bring SONOS quality sound with you on the go, As a Bluetooth...

Standout sound quality, great surround sound feature, water resistant, can be used as sound-bar, and classy looking.

Price is high considering most Bluetooth speakers

This is not an outdoor speaker

I took the speaker to the park to try it out. I put it in it's own carrying bag, put it in my backpack, off I went. Once I got to the park and set everything up, I was disappointed. First the volume was not loud. Even on Turbo, it was audible but not...

Pairing with Bluetooth

volume not loud outdoors, Bluetooth was clipping at a distance of 1 foot from speaker.
