Nice solid design ; Has a very premium feel to it ; Very loud, easily fills a room with music ; Great sound, Modern mode isn't quite as bass-heavy as other Monster products ; Classic Rock mode provides a different tuning experience

SuperStar Monster Blaster Review: The Boombox Is Back!

The Super Monster Blaster is Monster's fresh twenty-first century take on the classic boombox made popular in the late 70's through the 80's.

Huge sound! Absolutely massive and immersive. Water resistant IPX5 rated. Mic input makes it a great small PA system.

Heavy, heavy, heavy. This thing is not light but those huge 80's boomboxes weren't either. Price might be an issue for some.

Overall the Blaster produces some massive and crisp sound and is a great speaker with great features. The price point might be an issue for some but its quality sound and construction more than justify the price. Be prepared for your arm to get sore if...

Monster's boombox is brutal to look at, but it sounds nicer than expected.

Can play outrageously loud and can be taken everywhere. Worth the price, can be a real bargain!

Weighs quite a lot. Bluetooth and Aux input only.

Performance Features Ergonomics Build Quality

As I removed the Monster Blaster from its box, I felt like I was lifting a dumbbell from the rack. Seriously, the thing weighs about 17 pounds, and it’s built like a tank, ready for the rough and tumble of outdoor use.

Best gift!

I took a chance getting this gift because it seemed a bit old fashioned. However, my 17 year old son absolutely loves it and it gets plenty of use! Outside in the garden, indoors with friends or just hanging out. Definitely highly recommend this!...
