Klipsch R-10B review

Klipsch's R-10B soundbar houses two 3in mid-range drivers and two 0.75in tweeters mated to dual Tractrix horns. These horns are filtered down from the Klipschorn, a legendary high-end floorstander which has been in continuous production for over 60...

Balanced, distortion-free sound; well integrated (and wireless) subwoofer; Bluetooth streaming

Dull design; limited socketry including zilch HDMI inputs; sizeable form could make installation awkward

Klipsch R-10B: A better sound bar for a bit more money

Although it costs more than most of its kind, the Klipsch R-10B sound bar brings a wireless subwoofer and great sonics to the space under your TV.

The Klipsch R-10B offers an instant upgrade to your TV and movie watching with dynamic sonic performance. Music sounds better than you would expect for a sound bar. Subwoofer offers deep, deep bass without breaking a sweat. More midrange detail than...

If your phone doesn't support aptX, then Bluetooth can sound harsh. Overly miserly with only two physical inputs and no bass or treble controls. Not much of a looker with its plastic main speaker. No DTS support for its "3D Surround Mode."

Although it's not as good a value as our favorite sound bars, the higher-end Klipsch R-10B offers excellent performance for both movies and music.

Klipsch R-10B Soundbar and Subwoofer Review

Klipsch R-10B soundbar and wireless subwoofer promises Reference line level of performance, which has set the company's standard for home theater speaker systems since 1999. Does it deliver?

Overall sound quality that is high above its price range ; Easy setup ; Unique look ; Dolby Digital decoding

Lack of input options (no digital coax or HDMI) ; Lack of multiple DSP modes, no DTS decoding ; Tiny, card-sized remote ; No independent subwoofer volume control on remote or front panel

Klipsch R-10B: A better sound bar for a bit more money

While most people would probably spend under a thousand bucks on a TV, some are lucky enough to be able to spend a bit more. The higher-end Klipsch R-10B ($600/AU$999) is a sound bar for those lucky souls.

Review: Klipsch R-10B | High Entertainment Factor Klipsch R-10B

With horn tweeters and a powerful subwoofer, Klipsch R-10B that knows how to kick off!

Both music and film are played with a high entertainment factor. Singing voices and dialogues are bigger and fuller than we are used to, and the subwoofer sounds good.

Without a display, the ease of use is mediocre. The harmonic range could have been more resolved.

Easy Setup - Great Sound - But Buy On Sale

I bought this for $200 less than suggested retail which I regard as a fair price for the system. Don't get me wrong, it sounds great but it is not a 5.1 or 7.1 system. I don't find the channel separation as great as some of the reviews but that could...

It doesn't get any easier to setup up a sound bar/subwoofer combination than this. Plug in the optical (or RCA plugs) from TV to sound bar, plug in AC power to sound bar and subwoofer, turn off tv sound, turn on soundbar and sub power and it's done....

Price is steep if not on sale. For serous "sound" people, the lack of connections or sound level indicator might be an issue. Surround sound is lame. Lack of sub volume on remote for a system of this price is crazy but doesn't need to be adjusted often...
