Edifier's MP300 Plus is a set of portable 2.1 speakers. The two satellites are the size of tennis balls, and the tube-shaped subwoofer is also compact.
Edifier's MP300 Plus speakers are an improvement over a poor set of built-in laptop speakers, but we were expecting better sound quality from a 2.1 set.

IMHO... flat, detailed sound. Loud enough at close range, better than expected and reviewed at a distance.
Too small to expect too much volume, but at least when cranked it's not too distorted.

Saw and heard previous version at local RS, bought when the price dropped to $50. Very happy with them, incredibly small footprint and decent sound. Volume up/down doubles as mute when pressed together. Woofer really does sound better after "break in" as...
