DALI Zensor Pico 5.1 review

Pico is a scaled-down version of DALI's impressive Zensor 1 standmount, cramming the same driver technology into a box that's around 30 per cent smaller. With its dinky dimensions and attractive design, it could be a good bet if you want to squeeze a...

Refined sonic character; lots of detail; terrific two-channel music performance; solid build and fetching design; compact cabinets

Subwoofer tricky to integrate; dialogue lacks authority

It’s an enjoyable listen, then, but this is a very crowded market and there are more cohesive compact 5.1 systems out there with better-matched subs – including the likes of Tannoy's HTS-101 XP and Mission's cube-designed M3. Grab an audition.

Review: Dali Zensor Pico

Sound systems come and go, and many technologies change, but one set of things has been universal for about a hundred years, and that is a good set of speakers[...]

A great set of speakers packaged in a small size, and at a great cost. They even look good on top of that! What’s not to like?

Great little speakers

Due to down sizing I need to get a smaller pair of rear speakers. I was very apprehensive about these Dali speakers but once I had them wired into my system all my doubts faded away. They are just perfect and the sound is crisp and full.

Great little speakers

These are great little speakers. They look very nice and very small, but was surprised with the volume they can handle. The sound is beautiful. I can high frequency tones that I have never heard from other speakers. The bass is very clear and precise....

Small speakers that punch above their weight

Elegant speakers with a rich, full sound, along with the Tangent Ampster make for a great entry-level mini system, perfect for a student room or kitchen.

Surprisingly good sound for the size

I got these to fill in the middle of a surround sound system. Out of curiosity I connected them up to a stereo first to see what they sounded like. Surprisingly they sounded better than a pair of ancient Wharfdales that are about twice the size.

Awesome quality built speakers

I bought the excellent Dali Zensor Pico speakers in black from the Chelsea store in London. The advice given by Salah was honest and very helpful. Thank you.
