Absolutely sucks! Not loud at all. The wattage rating is false. I have a bookshelf system with a 7" woofer that hits way harder than this. This is a subtle sounding sub. If that's what you're looking for than buy it.

Brilliant bit of kit this is, made one hell of a difference to the sound quality of our little 16" bedroom tv. Connect the usb lead to the tv and it switches on and off with the tv .. excellent.

Bought it for stage/hands free tablett music viewing. Peavey is a good name, so I gave it a try. It was the best choice for the price. It's strong and holds everything in place with absolutly no drooping of the ipad. You won't be dissapointed
