Bose SoundLink Air

For most music genres, the wireless AirPlay-enabled Bose SoundLink Air offers strong overall audio performance. But it distorts on deep bass tracks at high volumes, and at $350, that shouldn't happen.

Streams wireless audio via Apple's AirPlay from iOS devices and iTunes. Quality audio performance at moderate listening levels. Simple set-up process. Becomes portable with purchase of battery accessory.

Distorts on deep bass tracks at high volumes. Massive power adapter is a space hog. Battery accessory is $90.

Bose SoundLink Air

Sound fills the room and base is amazing. Particularly surprising that the sound is as good on the optional battery as when powered by mains.

Slow to connect to wifi at times, especially when using it as the wifi hub. Shame the wifi zone it creates isn't password protected I.e. Anyone in range can use it.
