Two Out of Two Bad

I got this as an OEM plain white box on sale. Installation hung up, and I tried formatting using a HHD dock on an up-and-running PC. I returned the defective drive and its replacement also can't format. I've done dozens of Linux installs, and a fair...

Good Value

Bought this HD to speed up a cheap laptop I purchased about 6 months ago, and I remain happy with the choice. SSDs are the future! Only downside is this one isn't very big and I need to manage the programs I keep on it a little more than usual. Will...

Fast ; Reliable

Little on the small side

First Toshiba SSD - WINNING!!

Figured I'd give it a chance. Purchased for my friends build recently. (Refer to my A4-4000 apu review) This thing boots her Windows 7 PC in under 25 seconds. Benchmark speeds are very respectable also. Crystal Disk Mark - Read: 351.9 MB/s Write: 336.2...

Excellent Performance!! Read = 325MB+ / Write = 300 ; Great value - err... was - Got mine for 79 shipped ; (wait for a sale) ; Lightweight? No..really really lightweight. External Drive duties maybe

Really light weight and flimsy feeling. I feel like I could throw it 200 yards! lol ; No ID on the packaging...very generic looking. No stickers in the packaging to put on it either. Kinda odd

ecellent

so far this drive is excellent ; getting 560 read/ 510 write in ATTO ; excellent performance ; very light

doesn't come with a toolbox like samsung and intel drives so you have to optimize windows for the drive manually. Numerous guides online detail the process and it shouldn't take more than 10 mins

does not work with Adaptec 71605 RAID controller

I also just tried using them separately (non-boot) in RAID 5 and 0 to install games on but still resulted in broken and corrupt files. I am running fine on a pair of Vertex 4s now and sold these off.

Works alright with the Intel SATA 3 controller on my motherboard and decent speed at a great price. However

I bought 3 of these to use in a RAID 5 array but found they wouldn't work properly with my Adaptec 71605 RAID controller. There were massive numbers of errors, corrupt and broken files when I tried installing and running Windows 7 x64 with them

Nice price...

Replaced a painfully slow 7200 RPM Barracuda system drive in my HP Microserver. Wow... what a difference this little gem made. No smoke yet so life is good.

Cheap & Fast

It's great

It's a bare drive and that's it. Plan accordingly.

It's fast and it works great

none really

Great drive for the price

Drive went into an older mid-range desktop which had already had a CPU upgrade but was still slow to boot. Bought an SSD because I was tired of hearing that computer's disk clicking away and hearing about how slowly it booted. Installing this drive...

Good speed, boots the system up fast. Runs cool and quiet. Toshiba's toggle NAND is used in lots of the fastest SSDs currently sold. Drive was well packaged

Package doesn't include any tools and makes no mention of the free NTI clone software that they make available. They also don't have any sophisticated tools on their website to monitor and tune the disk. Toshiba has been an OEM supplier of SSDs to...
