No one SHOULD want this one

We're reviewing CORE units right now that are 128G, only cost about $400, and set to release soon. I don't want to give it back! SO,we don't HAVE to buy from newegg to state opinions or actual usage. It's a good drive, but not for...

Buyer? No...but used it this past Month. The reviews are basically correct. It's a quick and snappy drive, but not near cost effective. One win, and that's access time. Had it 4 days, wasn't impressed against other's SSD drives

This drive never WAS worth $3K. It will never be lower, and cheaper drives are coming...stat. This one does not use the good memory, and tested slower across the board than a 10K RPM spindle drive ; 81.1 burst, 76.3 read (max), 76.0 sequential write;...

Stop posting without buying.

It's like seeing a an expensive sports car that you will never be able to buy and pretending that you're an expert on how it feels to drive. Then tearing them down to make yourself feel better. Do your homework newbs.

SSDs are the best, they will take over the world rise of the machines style. Also, naysayers will suffer fates ; Thank you to insightful posters

Forced to sort through comments on $3000 parts by people who can't afford them and haven't bothered doing any research in between their COD4 and smut sessions before mom gets home

Insane hard drive

you can buy add ons that allow you to install the drives in a standard case, if you want and it is pretty awesome for a laptop x_x

This hard drive is expensive, but i meen what did you expect when first introducing something like this to the market. Performance wise this thing blows physical hard drives out of the water, whether your willing to pay this much for the preformance i...

If your an enthusiast, rich person, or both you should think about getting a SSD soon =D, only thing that comes close is the new velociraptor, which in my dream pc id have a 32gb SSD as boot drive and the velociraptor as the main drive but as one of...

Solid State Is the Future

Although the price is steep, the technology is new. Given the right time to mature these drives will be the future of data storage.

No moving parts lends to higher power efficiency and portability.

Storage capacity is low compared to conventional drives and price is fairly steep for the average consumer.

It isn' t a "Drop In replacement

Super Talent Support was equal to "NO SUPPORT". Duh, Duh. It is going back to Newegg. Thanks, but no thanks.

So far, none. Can't get it to accept 64 bit Vista.

Finally, even with inadequate instrucions, it will accept 32 bit Vista. Instructions indicate that it is a ""Drop In"" replacement with any SATA 1.5 or 3.0 connection. Not so. Don't try with 64 bit Vista.

Fabulous Product--the first of many

Lots of people have written about RAID. As one reviewer wisely noted--at this price point these are not meant for RAID, but for notebook use. But consider this: 8 of these in a RAID configuration would be blazing hot and eliminate the one weakness of...

Ok, I don't own this drive either, but it is sized to be a usable configuration in a laptop--I feel 64GB is too small, 128GB is minimal and at some point we will see 512Gb which will really be usable. At that point these 128GB SSD will be affordable,...

Crazy High Cost--I'm playing Powerball this week, if I win I'll buy a dozen of these! Write performance

Since it's seems to have already been decided that non-owners will review this....

Sure it's prohibitively expensive for all but the filthy rich atm. -- But lets get clear on the point here people -- if you want large storage space/redundancy/high performance -- and you don't mind it not being portable -- get a nice RAID 5. If you...

Despite the fact, I am reviewing without owning -- I at least understand the concept and purpose of this product, unlike the other 2 morons so far, who are needlessly confusing non-tech-saavy people, who actually want to know about this product.

Stupid people who review a product they don't even own AND completely miss the point of the product. Saying thing like ""You could buy 5 15K SCSI drives and a great 256MB RAID controller and it would be WAY faster, safer, and STILL way cheaper.""...

Ignore this feedback

I get tired of others writting reviews without buying, so I decided to add to the list. I can say the best of vista and nvidia has been a nightmare, so dont go there. I know Vista is garbage, the grade is not in for Nvidia yet. But still like them.

1750 sticker price with one review and they are out of stock. How can you be out of stock with one review

It seems for a couple bucks more, you would want to buy a Mitron SSD with read write of 100, but then again I am waiting for prices to come down a bit. The product review policy... wow
