Great SSD for the price

-definitely worth the price, though if you can wait 1 year, you can probably get double the size for the same price. Yay Moore's law.

-low cost -hi capacity -good quality

-doesn't come with an adapter for 3.5 bays, so make sure you get one if you're not putting it in a laptop

WOW

Might only buy SSD from now on, did buy regualr HD for backup files and saves, but windows 10 boots nice and fast from SSD.

Works as it should and is my first SSD drive and love the speed!

Works great!

It is much faster to boot off of than my HDD was

It was a pain to make it my new boot drive but I'm 99% sure that was mostly user error

Cheap & fast ^_^

I have an older laptop that only has SATA II, so with this drive my laptop is the bottleneck which is just fine and dandy for me :)

Slim, Fast, perfect price and size ratio for my need at the time of purchase.

Could be cheaper but considering the price/performance ratio it is excellent!

WOW - WOW - WOW!

I had to go into the BIOS and tell it to use the Sandisk for the boot drive. I had a clean copy of WIndows 7 with an immediate upgrade to Windows 10 in well under an hour. Right now with Windows 10 and some software she is between 35 and 40 GB. All...

Sha-Molie! I got this for my son's PC. He has a 2TB 5,000 rpm Samsung, great and reliable, but not so fast. From the login screen on Windows 10 to when the OS is up and running takes up takes 1 minute 25 seconds. With the new SANDISK it takes < 2...

Easy to set up, there are screw inserts on the sides, I could only use two to support it on one side of the HD rail. I plugged it in and ran the SATA cable to the connector. I had to go into the BIOS and tell it to use the Sandisk for the boot drive....

Great for everyday users

The drive was found with no issue by my Asus M5A97 LE, and found immediately installing Win7 x64. Certainly not the higher end SSD, but as the title of this review states, it'll be great for 70-80% of users.

Inexpensive. SATA 6Gb/s. Read somewhere that it's fully compatible with SATA II as well. Yeah, people say how fast SS media is, but you really have to witness it to appreciate how much of a speed difference there is between mechanical and solid state...

It's do lightweight, it feels like it's completely empty. Only listing this as a con because it leads one to suspect it's flimsy, (but why would you ever need to move it after installing, anyway?). Bare drive with no mounting hardware. Not an issue for...

SSD Speed

I purchased this drive to be a primary boot device on my Windows 7 desktop and replace an HDD. Booting to Windows takes less than 5 seconds on average with this SSD, on the HDD my computer took at least 20 seconds to load Windows. One downside to SSDs...

Bad Product

This is my first and last purchase of a Sandisk product. It has been 16 days since the RMA process has begun and I am still waiting

It did work for 3 months

It only worked for 3 months. It wasted hours of my time reloading Windows 10 into another (not Sandisk) SSD. Failure was confirmed by the inability of the BIOS on two of my computers to recognized it.
