The best thing since sliced bread?

Makes ordinary hard drives seem very slow. Booting up, installing software and opening up programmes are all much faster with an SSD. I recently mothballed a core2duo machine and built a new one with 8gb of RAM of top of the range AMD phenom. Spent...

Good for OS boot but unrealistic specifications

If writing a repetitive pattern to the drive, you can achieve close to stated specifications. If data is unrepetitive, which includes avi, mpg, mp3, jpg, flac, iso, zip and pretty much any other file you will encounter in everyday computing, then the...

Highly recommend SSD 40GB

Wanted a boot Drive that gets me through the tedius waiting that I have to put up with on my standard 5400RPM laptop drive.

Trash! Prepare for BSODs

Would not recommend purchasing any product from a manufacturer that doesn't back their mistakes. I bought a samsung to replace this and "miraculously" it works as expected!

fast boots

DO NOT PURCHASE if you plan on using in a system that you want to S3 sleep/standby. Your machine will crash on resume. There are a few users that have not experienced this issue but if you check the corsair forums, you'll see it's littered with...
