Fulfilled my need nicely

I bought an initial pair of these to use in some benchmarks where I did not want potential drive differences to influence the results. One is directly attached to a motherboard under test, and the second is in a separate machine for network tests. This...

Excellent read speeds (~450Mb/s). This was a subsequent purchase of this specific drive, with no problems from the previous two.

Write speeds nowhere near read speeds (~145Mb/s).

Zippy and fine

Used as a boot drive and it gets my PC up every time.

This is 2.5 inches of solid, hard, drive - partitioned FAT

The only con is the slick con it lays on the streets and in the sheets

Loving this SSD

Hyper X is a division of Kingston Tech, they have been building computer memory products since 1987

Over 500 MBps on the read and write speeds, which can help make an operation system boot up REALLY FAST !

Zip, Zero, NONE !

Works just as expected

I don't build PC's to benchmark them.

I'll start this off by stating, I use this drive for the OS, nothing else. I have not run any "hard drive performance analysis" software on it, because quite frankly I don't care. It's an OS drive, Windows couldn't care less and neither could I. It was...

I like it!

Works great using for a boot drive.

It reads and writes very fast. It was easy to install.

My only gripe is I downloaded a toolbox from Kingston and it pops up every time I start Windows. Easy fix but I just haven't had the time to do it yet.

Awesome SSD! Works Just Fine!

Cheapest "performance" SSD I could find at the time, although the SSD performs just as good as my Samsung 840. Came with tiny HyperX sticker/badge. Honestly not sure why it's called the "Cloud9" edition, besides the fact that it's labeled after...

-Worked out of the box, no firmware update needed. -Recognized by my B75 motherboard just fine (See Other for full system specs). Set BIOS to AHCI mode, so can't tell if IDE would work for this. -Has had no issues with my build -Very good price to...

-None at the moment.

-(Mostly) Faster than a spinning disk -Inexpensive when I purchased it

-Weak on sequential writes -3 YR warranty (though 3YR seems to have become standard on budget and mainstream SSDs)

WOW! I had the need for speed and this product delivers it and more! Hyper x Fury Cloud 9

For those of you having problems with slow speed. Is your motherboard a SATA 3 board? Are you using SATA 3 cable? In the BIOS where you set the hard drive mode. Do you have it set to ACHI ? The default mode is usually IDE. Is the TRIM command turned...

This baby is fast. I have Windows 7 and from the time it says "Starting Windows" to fully booted up is 6 seconds. From touching the power button to fully booted up is 30 seconds. This is not a fresh install of windows either. It is fully loaded with...

The price went down $5 each after my purchase. I bought 2. I've had no problems so far.
