Works great

make sure to use with the SATA controller set to AHCI mode to get it to function as fast as possible

I bought this almost a year ago back when SSDs were still kind of a new tech. This thing worked great and still does to this day as an OS drive

Capacity is low of course, but if you're only going to put the OS and maybe a couple of larger programs on it, it works great

Excellent Performance - Horrible Company

Click the link on their "Customer Service Excellence Survey", and you'll get a 404 Error, Web Page Cannot be Found. Yup, par for the course. Another funny thing is that the serial number of the disk drive is on the box. The number etched into the side...

These drives offer very, very good performance for the price. They've also gotten fairly good reviews from the likes of Maximum PC (if you don't subscribe, you should)

Their web site for warranty and customer support. Their RMA process. See comments below in Other Thoughts

It does make a difference

This drive really does reduce the boot times and makes basic OS install really rock. Requires planning under Win 7 on how to handle user areas though as you don't want to burn space with general junk on this thing.

Comes with adapter for 3.5 in bay ; Fast ; Quiet ; Fast ; Flawless install

Not big enough, I should have bought a 128G drive ; I didn't drop that 20lbs before spring after buying this

There is no update

Yes, I'm in AHCI mode.

Very fast, almost stable

Will not wake up from hibernation. It just puts my computer in an endless reboot loop. I bought this even thought people complained because I read all the posts from adata on here promising technical support and firmware updates. However, there is no...

So Far So Good

My system consists of a Gigabyte GA-MA790XT-UD4P, Phenom II x6, and 4 Gigs of RAM. In two years I went through 4 OCZ Vertex drives, the original, plus 3 warranty replacements. When this last one began failing I figured it was time to switch to another...

Very fast, and quite a bit snappier than the OCZ Vertex it replaced. Mine came with the new Firmware, and so far have not had any of the problems noted by others

None so far

COW CHIP ANYONE?

I have used similar ADATA products in the past without problems. The problem seems to be on NEWEGG'S part for shipping a used not new product. I bought it as a new item. Would like to return it , but don't have the original packaging. '

It is small and rectangular----may be useful as a paperweight

It arrived in what seemed to be a previously opened and resealed package ; Used it to install Win 7 and began getting errors. I then installed Ubuntu 10.10 ; and ran disk utility to check disk integrity. Failed test with message " Disk was ; used...

A- Ok

Regardless for the tests, this drive is awesome. Computer starts within 10 seconds after BIOS, and shuts down in 5. Extremely snappy, will never go back to the spindle for OS/boot drive again. Note: 22.9 Gigs free after Windows 7 64bit installed.

Worked without a hitch. When i first installed the OS it was set to IDE. It ran at 100min-220max Megs via HD Tune ; I put the SSD into my backup comp, deleted the volume, and reinstalled the OS with AHCI mode on. It ran at the same speeds

None at this time

34nm NAND rocks!

it's about time for sandforce to release a newer version of f/w to SSD manufactures.

Read on reviews and other users feedback that 25nm drive is only half as fast as 34nm. There opted to buy this drive because it uses 34nm NAND flash. so far so good

none. looks like some users with selective mobo are having issue with recovering from sleep mode. but it works fine on my Gigabyte 890GX, at least for now

Very decent once fixed

I am too busy to be beta tester. -2 eggs for QA failure on manufacturer's part. I will pay more for a more reputable brand next time.

Great speed - haven't benchmarked it but I have a 4x15k rpm SAS raid 0 and this kept up with it no trouble on file transfers ; Glad I got an SSD

Please note that **I FIXED THIS PROBLEM** but as it was shipped, it would constantly blue screen my laptop on resume from sleep or standy ; I put it in my workstation and it would do the same ; Finally they released the BIOS for end user to apply and...
