Acer Liquid Leap+ review

Meet the new band. Same as the old band.

Simple design ; Comfortable on the wrist ; Competitively priced

Uninspiring ; Limited features

Acer's budget fitness band isn't exactly feature-rich, but it delivers basic fitness band functionality for a great price.

Acer Liquid Leap review

Acer's first charge into the world of wearables stumbles slightly

Clear screen ; Reasonably affordable ; Fair battery life

Limited fitness tracking ; Limited extra features ; Band quite fiddly

The Acer Liquid Leap is a solid fitness tracker at a good price, that's easy to live with, but unexceptional. In an area where features are advancing and prices dropping rapidly, being competent isn't really enough to curry favour.

The Acep Liquid Leap picks and chooses key elements from the two worlds of wearables: the world of the fitness tracker has given it its fitness data, comfortable, unobtrusive design and long battery life, whereas the world of the smartwatches has...
