Better than any HP unit - Still need to test in Linux - Comes with Abobe - Probably will get one for every desk in the office - Yes - Even the desk girls have been able to use it

My company owns ~200 of these. We have lately begun to use the fi-6130, which is more expensive, but has a neat reversing roller instead of the pads. If you are going to scan more than 200 sheets per day, buy that one instead.

1. small size ; 2. fairly fast for it's price ; 3. multi-feed detection ; 4. linux support

paper feed pulls bottom sheet, relies on little rubber pads to hold upper sheets in input tray. over time, these pads become slick, and the machine will multifeed. cleaning pads helps some, but eventual replacement will be required. fortunately, not too e...
