500+ documents scanned now

After owning my Canon for well over a year and 500+ documents later I would recommend it without hesitation. It's not perfect, it has froze a few times requiring a power on/off . Sometimes the paper gets askew but for the most part it works pretty...

I've owned this for over a year now and for the most part, I like it a lot. I've probably scanned well over 500 documents. It's really great keeping papers from accumulating on your desk

Software a little clunky. Won't scan thick cards. Sometimes grabs 2 sheets instead of one

Great

Small, fast, easy to use. Creates a clear scanned image.

Will very occasionally sense a double-feed and then it basically requires a computer restart to reset the scanner. May be a result of using with our paperless software.

Nice little scanner

Really like my Canon P-150. It's quick and scans both sides of a document in the same pass. Makes scanning a breeze and I've emliminate most of my paper files

If you are scanning more the 10 pages, it has a hard time pulling the pages through

Doesn't last past the warranty period

We've switched back to traditional flatbed scanners, another Canon actually. They don't take up much room, cost less than a third as much, and don't break so easily. I'm not down on the Canon brand at all, I still continue to recommend them for...

While it works, it's handy.

We've had three of these and they all died after about one to two years. Two of the three never left the user's desk, the other was used for a travelling employee. For such an expensive scanner, you'd think it would last longer. I guess the warranty is...

Good - but deskew doesn't work

Other than the deskew being absent, this is a pretty solid portable scanner for helping you make the change over to paperless.

This thing is compact, has the software pre-loaded on it so that you do not have to install anything, and can auto-feed up to 20 pages and scans both sides in one pass.

The deskew feature doesn't seem to work, with the scanned text coming out at a pretty noticeable angle.

Love it

Fast, small, durable, portable. Works great with OS X.

None so far.

Better than expected

Would have liked to see it come with a sleeve of some sort, to cover scanner while not in use.

small ; duplex scanning ; auto feeds quite well, without any interaction ; launch a scan with the push of a button ; (button launched scan works whether computer the scanner is hooked to has scanner software installed on it or not

takes two usb cables to operate (one for data, one for power) ; power cable could be replaced with a power adapter (at additional cost)
