I brought this scanner from outside not from flipkart. As i was having around 3000 negatives and its scaning speed is too fast... it start up in 5 sec and takes a scan in 7 sec now i am planning to start my own business of scan negaties...

An excellent replacement for a smaller Canon scanner. Bought specifically to scan transparencies and negatives as my old one didn't. Drivers installed without problem and I was up and working very quickly. Works well with Corel Paint Shop, Omnipage 18...

Having read various reports on the internet about how slow and inefficient slide scanners can be, I was slightly apprehensive about buying one (comments about the "dark arts" of scanning don't help!). So I did a lot of research before acquiring one....

While Canon's CanoScan 8800F and Epson's V600 battle it out in the sub-$200 flatbed film scanner sweepstakes, Canon has quietly trumped them both with its highest resolution film flatbed ever: the CanonScan 9000F.
