It looks nice. It has tons of features. Sound through RCA and HDMI sounded great. I'd assume the optical would too

This was purchased specifically for the HDMI pass through; which was a complete disaster. The on-screen menu and horrible user manual made it even more disappointing

Works but has problems

The power issues mean that one remote control is not possible. I have to have the tv, receiver and cable box remotes available at all times. This does not make for a happy wife.

Sound is excellent. Really good surround sound ( I have seven speaker system: floor (2), center (1) and 4 ceiling speakers. Excellent does not begin to describe it: even my wife is impressed
