NAD D 3020

Smooth, solid and punchy sound, Forward-looking features, Adventurous, versatile design

Erratic controls

Best stereo amplifier up to £500, Awards 2013. A potential game changer. We hope other manufacturers take a brave-pill and produce amplifiers as innovative as this

NAD D 3020 Integrated Amplifier Review

NAD's D 3020 integrated amplifier proves that sometimes a model designation is more than just a number.

Lively and entertaining sound ; Clever feature set ; Compact and well built

Some limits to connectivity ; Controls not as slick as they could be ; Better with music than TV

There is a temptation amongst two channel fans in particular to talk about the good old days of Hi-Fi and ignore the less appealing aspects of whatever period you happen to be referring to. I don’t doubt that in 1978, the audio community was larger,...

NAD D 3020 Hybrid Digital Stereo Amplifier

If it isn't already obvious, I was supremely impressed by the D 3020. Its ability to drive a pair of large four-ohm speakers as stoutly as a 75-pound Emotiva amplifier is nothing short of astounding. It may only be rated at 30 watts per channel but it...

NAD D 3020

That's the context in which we looked at the NAD D 3020 ($500 street), along with several other integrated amplifiers that include an optical audio input. The D 3020 is the best of the bunch, with terrific sound quality, a solid feature set (including...

The NAD Electronics D 3020 Hybrid Digital Amplifier is a sleek, compact integrated stereo amplifier that takes up much less room than a typical AV receiver. The D 3020 has an excellent set of features, including built-in Bluetooth with aptX support,...

The D 3020 feels expensive compared with cheaper (albeit larger) AV receivers that include a lot more functionality. The included remote is tough to read, especially in a dim room.

If you're looking to ditch your giant AV receiver for a compact stereo amp, the NAD D 3020 is the one to get.

A small form-factor vertically-oriented amplifier that’s absolutely ideal for computer-based/streaming applications.

If you’re after a small form-factor, vertically-oriented amplifier that’s absolutely ideal for computer-based/streaming applications, NAD’s new D3020 is a little cracker. #

Great little amplifier

We were looking to replace our old Harmon Kardon receiver which was large and an energy hog. This little amplifier packs a punch, is slim and small, and uses far less energy. A great win-win ... win!
