Worms Open Warfare 2 (PSP) review

Worms slithers onto PSP once again.

Open Warfare 2 is certainly one of the best multiplayer experiences on the PSP, and the extra single-player modes are welcome additions. However, the Worms ...

Worms: Open Warfare 2

As long as the formula remains unchanged, every Worms game is a familiar prospect. Little cartoon worms, with a silly accent of your choosing, blow the ever living crap out of each other. The weapons are entertaining, although this installment is...

New weapons add freshness to an old series ; Online multiplayer improves over usual Wi-Fi interface ; Single player actually has some depth

This is basically fan service with Wi-Fi so if you aren't in a rush to play online, you can wait on this installment

This is a great game for DS Wi-Fi, and for once it is one that isn't made by Nintendo themselves. There is may not be much more to this game, but for fans that should be more than enough.

Worms: Open Warfare 2 review for the PSP

Beware the Concrete Donkey!

Its Worms!; Buffalo of Lies; Neat DS and PSP exclusive modes

Same game as its always been

Worms: Open Warfare 2 is a great version of the classic game for the handheld systems. Besides some neat online features for the PSP and interesting gameplay modes on the DS, this game doesn't really offer anything new, but that's not a bad thing. What...

Worms: Open Warfare 2

Chris Hudak has a thing for worms. Always has. He's funny that way. He gets a little teary-eyed when talking about them, but that just might be from the mortar fire...

Worms games date back to just slightly after the Big Bang. Available at one time or another on just about every platform, with the possible exception of the Abacus, the Worms franchise has seen unequivocal highs and a few depressing lows. At its best,...

Worms: Open Warfare 2

Those lovable, homicidal Worms return for a second time on the Nintendo DS. Is this second outing better than their first, or has the Worms franchise truly gone stagnant?

Sky high production values ; Tight and responsive controls ; Quick and lag-free Wi-Fi multiplayer ; A vast wealth of content

Friend Codes ; A lack of variety in backgrounds ; Lack of voice chat

Another thing is the computer can be dead stupid. If you die against 2 computer teams and they can't get a direct shot at eachother, you might as well quit. They just keep skipping turns until time runs out, and then who knows. I'm not waiting that...

Worms Open Warfare 2 Review

So, these little Worms have been around for awhile. Sure, the franchise may have started on the PC, grown up there and become a favorite among young and old gamers alike. However, it has since made its way to other systems, mostly in failed attempts to...

Overall, Open Warfare 2 is a far superior product to the original Open Warfare game on the DS. You have much better multiplayer, a wider variety of weapons, and a wealth of customization options. This is the type of game you can toss in your DS and...
