So simple and yet so enduring. Perfect for the train or long car journeys. The collectibles and multiple paths really make this game worth going back to again and again.

Loco Roco

By Jay (ultraninjas.com)

I realised after writing my Patapon review, making references to LocoRoco, that we hadn't actually got a review for it. We'd certainly played it, but for whatever reason hadn't put fingers to keys and let everyone know what we thought of it.

Loco Roco for PSP

By Anmol Kapoor (ld2.ciol.com)

No more sequels. Originality bounces onto PSP with this one

Originality seems to have no end in this game. Simplicity of the controls isa welcome change, the level design is out of this world, and the game looks likenothing you've ever played before. The music too is perfectly matched to thepace of the level...

You will even notice the blobs singing along as they roll across the snakinglandscapes.

LocoRoco Review for PSP

By Tom Orry (videogamer.com)

LocoRoco for PSP Review - As far as PSP titles go, there is nothing that comes close to being so wonderfully suited to the platform, with every part of its design simply working how you'd want it to.

LocoRoco (PSP)

Never underestimate the raw power of unbridled charm. LocoRoco is a platformer with a unique control scheme and a one-track mind that has you essentially performing the same handful of activities at roughly the same difficulty level from start to...

But that winning charm, combined with a dedication to playing in short bursts, makes LocoRoco a fun little diversion.

LocoRoco (PSP) Reviews

By Jeff Gerstmann (cnet.com)

LocoRoco makes an absolutely fantastic first impression. It's got unique control, a really great look to it, and the gameplay is sharp. Unfortunately, the level design doesn't take too many chances with that formula, and as you go on, the game starts...

If you're the sort of person that plays in short bursts, though, you can sidestep that feeling. Either way, LocoRoco's charm carries it quite well, and it's a unique experience that's worth checking out.

LocoRoco

By Randolph Ramsay (cnet.com.au)

Quirky, innovative and as cute as a baby seal stuffed with kittens (possibly cuter), LocoRoco is a must-have PSP title.

Innovative gameplay ; Great art and sound design ; Appealing characters ; Easy to pick up and play ; Brings a smile to your face ; Ridiculously catchy songs

Main quest is over in a few hours ; Replay value is a little low

Despite its shortness, it's hard not to recommend LocoRoco, purely because it's such an appealing and attractive game that boasts truly unique gameplay. You'll fall in love with these LocoRocos -- and will probably start humming their songs, too.
