Juiced: Eliminator PSP Review

There was much to like when Juiced was finally released on PS2 and Xbox, but there was also some unforgivable flaws, which dragged the game down, thanks to their overbearing presence. There was so much potential, but sadly this potential played second...

Juiced: Eliminator isn’t entirely free of imperfections though, as the vehicle handling for instance is somewhat vague, coming between simulation and arcade, and not quite hitting the happy medium that other racers have met. It's still a game that is...

Juiced: Eliminator

Juiced Eliminator attempts to simulate what it's like to be a street racer, but it simply lacks the flair and excitement that other games in the genre offer.

Visuals are pretty impressive

A street racer without traffic ; No online play ; Handling is too sim-like

The PSP is hardly struggling for good racing games, and the likes of Burnout Legends, the Need for Speed games, and Rockstar's Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition are all better alternatives for the street racer crowd. Those games know their audience and play...

Juiced: Eliminator

Fast, yes, but not exactly furious

Anyone who uses the above opening adage with reckless abandon has obviously not noticed the amount of racing games on PSP, for instance

Juiced Eliminator (PSP) review

Pimping pink slips and modding motors – oooh neons!

70 seems like a good score for Juiced: Eliminator, like why not? It's got racing, it's got modding, it's got pretty generic racing. If you like playing dress-up with cars then you might like this.

Juiced: Eliminator

The ex-Acclaim street racer goes portable. But will you want to take it with you?

Juiced is an underrated gem of a racer that gives you a completely different take on the overcrowded street racing market... on the PS2. On the PSP, this core is still there, but it's so rough around the edges that it's trumped by less ambitious racers.

Juiced: Eliminator

The solid but unspectacular racing of Juiced meanders onto the PSP.

Respectable career mode; excellent Ad Hoc multiplayer, where nothing beats handing out a pink slip

Not much different from the console versions; loose vehicle handling and limited course design at odds; non-career modes aren't much fun

Juiced: Eliminator Sony PSP Review

For one thing, the track design isn't really all that inspired. Sure, there's a few locales here and there and some hair-pin turns that allow you to show off some drifting style, but they really lack in variety and overall spark. You could race through...

Multiplayer can be fun; some racing events are a blast

Controls are inconsistent; bland track design; frustrating career mode

Underground racing has officially been done to DEATH. If it isn't about the Fast and the Furious movies, it's about the leaning of the Need For Speed franchise towards it. And then there's the countless knock-offs that come into play that kind of make...

WOW just what I wanted - Another racing game ;-)

so you've played, the need for speeds (lost count, but it's at least 3), burnout legends, coast to coast, formula 1, atv, atv versus mtx, micro machines, cars, wipeout and of course ridge racer (not too mention the really anorack ones that claim to be...

Racing.

Excelent game with good graphics and fantastic sound track. Good twist to the game where you have to make bets with your opponents on how good you rate your racing ability.
