Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories

For the first few months of the PSP's life, the thing you consistently heard from every Sony fan boy and even Sony execs themselves was that it was a console in its infancy, and it needed time to grow. A meagre range of relatively impressive titles...

Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories

Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories is a landmark PSP game. It's by far the most technically accomplished title on the system and proves, without doubt, what the handheld is capable of.

Stunning technical achievement ; Great multiplayer modes

No online play ; Some camera issues

Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories is a landmark PSP game. It's by far the most technically accomplished title on the system and proves, without doubt, what the handheld is capable of. It's not the perfect handheld game though, with some design...

Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories (PSP) review

Rockstar is a company that nearly all its fans have huge faith in. They almost never release a bad game with their only truly bad title being Manhunt, released just over two years ago. Rockstar is also a company that helped make the Playstation2 what...

Waiting for a killer app before you get a PSP? Well you got one! Complaining your PSP is home to a never ending line of racing games? Well you're right about that, but now you have something else to play around with! GTA: LCS is a fantastic addition to...

Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories

Normally, any game plagued by a clumsy camera and frustrating gunplay would struggle to scrape a couple of stars, never mind be hailed as one of the year’s most remarkable releases. But – as with its classic predecessors – the latest GTA is no...

Grand Theft Auto Liberty City Stories

Given the popularity of the franchise on the PS2 and the widespread disappointment for many console gamers when Rockstar first announced the original GTA title for the PSP, were leaning towards the first option as to why Liberty City Stories has made...

Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories

Unless you're new to this whole 'Playstation' thing, you've probably played Grand Theft Auto 3 at some time. And if you have, you'll feel right at home here. GTA: Liberty City Stories is another trip through the streets of the worst city in America,...

Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories

It's not surprising that Liberty City Stories is still one of the PSP's top selling titles. With the popularity that Rockstar has accumulated over the years with its critically acclaimed Grand Theft Auto series, it wouldn't be hard to make a mediocre...

Although Liberty City Stories is the most technically impressive PSP game I’ve come across to date, I just couldn't help but feel a little disappointed with it. Sure it's GTA on a handheld, but it's a GTA I've already played (or close enough too it). ...

Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories

When the PSP first launched, it seemed to lack a true "hit". Of course there are hits in comparison to the current PSP library, such as WipEout Pure, Ridge Racer, and Lumines, but there were no Devil May Crys Socoms, or GTAs. Well, obviously that's...

Liberty City Stories is a great start to expanding the console-based series to the handheld world (Who was really that impressed with Grand Theft Auto for the GBA?). While the game could use some polish on the control scheme and the graphics, Liberty...
