Disgaea Infinite Review

Disgaea Infinite is a visual novel/text adventure set in the Disgaea Universe something not normally seen in the U.S. Will this game be accepted by non-Disgaea fans?

Disgaea Infinite is an interesting take on the visual novel concept that has always enjoyed more success in Japan than in the US. While this game is unlikely to change anyone’s mind, it is worth a look just for the funny atmosphere and the amusing...

Disgaea Infinite

Initially, I worried that I wouldn't have much to say about Disgaea: Infinite. In truth, it doesn't really play like anything I've ever encountered. From a traditional standpoint, Infinite is lacking nearly all of the elements that make a game-character...

Finite Problems, Infinite Potential

Disgaea Infinite isn't a game, per se. But will it entertain you, dood?

Here in lies the tragic fault of Disgaea Infinite, in that you will relive many of the same moments over and over again. To find out how to stop a character from exploding, you need to get lucky and be attached to the right character at the right...

Disgaea Infinite

Disgaea Infinite comes at a strange time in the PSP life cycle. After completing the one and only play through of the game I was getting shades of Shadow of Destiny, a title recently re-released by Konami that was a launch era title for the PS2....

The different gameplay style is going to throw Disgaea fans for a bit of a loop. But the humor and story is on point, making this a perfectly legitimate entry in the Disgaea universe.

Disgaea Infinite

Disgaea Infinite is Nippon Ichi's attempt at turning the popular strategy RPG series into a "Choose Your Own Adventure" novel. The first three Disgaea games all featured well-written and entertaining characters in fun situations featuring well-written...

Great characters, interesting story the first time through

Scenes are entertaining once or twice, but you'll be watching them many more times than that

Gamertell Review: Disgaea Infinite for PSP

There are two things NIS America is known for - the Disgaea series and taking chances on eclectic games. With Disgaea Infinite, NIS America is combining the two to bring North American gamers a brand new Disgaea adventure that's also a visual novel....

Well written, funny, full voice acting, good character portraits, interesting how it cuts away to animated sprite scenes, unusual gameplay mechanics, in-game dictionary with all terms, keeps track of what choices you made when you use “mind control”...

Can be tricky to know which routes to take, have to keep an eye on the character map and it can be somewhat slow if you’ve never played a visual novel before and don’t know how to proceed. Some music is also recycled from Disgaea: Hour of Darkness, but...

Disgaea Infinite Review

NIS's latest attempt to broaden the scope of their most popular franchise is entertaining, but all too brief.

Review: Disgaea Infinite (Sony PSP)

The game consists of two kinds of visuals: Static images for each character that represent their mood whilst talking and animated scenes that look like they are straight out of the SRPG's. For those not familiar with the latter, it means you are...

Disgaea Infinite is exactly what I look for in an adventure game. It features a great cast of characters, some excellent voice acting and the controls are simple and fun, allowing the story to take center stage. The only downside with the game is that...

Disgaea Infinite Review

Once more, with Feeling

Lots of the?classic Disgaea?LOL humor fans love

Watching and re-watching the same scenes looking for the hotspot

Although I can genuinely say that I have great affection for the Disgaea characters and I had a blast going through the game once, the drive to unlock every ending evaporated almost immediately. Watching a game made of cut-scenes isn't bad if they make...
