SIM2 Grand Cinema C3X 1080 review

This super high-end three-chip DLP projector is all the status symbol you need

Reference standard pictures with a capital R ; Gorgeous design ; Small ; Unbelievably flexible colour management

Standard-def might have benefited from slightly more 'highbrow' video processing

A fantastic projector that offers true cinephile performance from the comfort of your living room. We will be saving for one for some time

Sim2 HT305E review

SIM2 Nero 3D-1 projector review

So far as I'm concerned, only one home cinema product to date has really and truly nailed the 3D movie experience in the home. SIM2's Lumis 3D-S was essentially perfect, delivering a rich, sharp, detailed, colourful and completely crosstalk-free 3D...

Delicious chassis design; 2D and 3D picture quality is awesome; good set of calibration tools

Rare and subtle appearances of the rainbow effect; runs a tad noisy; UI isn’t very intuitive

SIM2 HT5000 review

Value for money is all relative. One person's definition of a perfectly sensible pair of jeans is another's exemplar of fashion obsession gone mad. SIM2's gigantic new HT5000 projector elicits much the same debate. Nobody can fail to be impressed by...

Sim2 M.150 LED DLP HD Front Projector Reviewed

In some ways the Sim2 M.150 LED DLP front projector is what people have come to expect from Sim2, but in many other ways it isn't. In any case, it delivers the can of performance you have to read about.

So how best to wrap up the Sim2 M.150 LED DLP front projector? On one hand, it is among the more expensive front projectors on the market at just under $28,000 (the most expensive LED model currently). On the other hand, it produces arguably the finest...

Hands On: SIM2 MICO 50 Projector

Excellent black levels, vivid colors, and crisp picture make it a go-to projector.

Putting those minor issues aside, the MICO 50 represents a new age in consumer video. I only wish the SIM2 staff would forget it was at my house.

Sim2 Grand Cinema HT3000 Front Projector: Coming Attraction

SIM2 has always been a leading edge company that combines graceful Italian aesthetics with pure, rich cinema-like performance. Grand Cinema indeed! Perhaps because Sim2 started in the CRT projector biz, its digital projectors have always retained a...

SIM2 Grand Cinema C3X Three-chip DLP Projector

Three-chip configurations not only eliminate rainbows—no color wheel—but serve up a brighter image as well. In a single-chip projector, each color is illuminated for only a one-third of each frame (or even less with some color wheel designs.) In a...
