Optoma PT100 Review

The Optoma PT100 is not the tiniest projector in our lineup. It is not the one with the best picture. It does not offer the most connectivity options either. It is an amazing value, though, at less than 180 bucks. Your movies and games will look pretty...

For less than $200 you can have a 100-inch screen for games, movies and more.

The picture is less bright than competitors with only 50 lumens.

Optoma’s PT100 lacks some connections, but the picture quality is quite good considering the low price.

Review: Optoma PT100 PlayTime Projector

Given its native 480p resolution and sub-$200 price tag, the PT100 isn't intended to replace either your HDTV or home theater projector. Instead, it's designed as a secondary, portable display best used for impromptu showings of movies and videogames...

Optoma PT100

Don't expect much from a $180 projector.

The Optoma PT100 isn't one of the better projectors we've reviewed, performance-wise. It's lamp outputs barely any light, and even in a dimly-lit room you'll find its image looks washed out. The PT100 didn't put up great numbers on any of our picture...

Worth money

Good product for the money, weekend movies and games are good with this. Very easy to setup, friendly user interface. This projector is good for only dark rooms only. Image is sharp and good. I liked the product, it is perfect for my needs at that price.

Good little projector for the price

Purchased this item for my 16 year old son after Christmas and after I had returned another manufacturer projector that I had purchased as a Christmas gift, which did cost less but had a horrible picture. It was simply unusable. And I have to say that...

Great Projector

Bought for my daughter after I already purchased the Discovery Projector which sounded like a jet engine when running. Although this was a bit more pricey at [$], but well worth it. If you need a great little projector for fun movie nights with a solid...
