Epson Powerlite 1781W Projector review

Slimline design and great image quality make this a must-have.

Light and slim design ; Great image quality ; Wi-Fi connectivity ; Wireless connections

No Bluetooth connectivity ; Weak speakers

Small and light, yet incredibly powerful - the Epson 1781W is a highly portable business projector that combines simple setup with great usability. With projectors now a common sight in homes and businesses these days, the need for an affordable and...

Epson PowerLite Home Cinema 500

The budget-priced Epson PowerLite Home Cinema 500 2D home entertainment projector delivers a bright, rainbow-free image, but at less-than-720p resolution.

Inexpensive. LCD engine means no rainbow artifacts. Bright enough to use in a living room or family room.

Native resolution is only 800 by 600. No 3D capability.

The 800-by-600 resolution makes this projector of no interest if you insist on 720p or 1080p resolution, and of limited interest even you don't. Either way, you'll get a more detailed image with a higher-resolution projector like the Editors' Choice...

Epson PowerLite Home Cinema 2030

The Epson PowerLite Home Cinema 2030 home entertainment projector delivers bright, 1080p images in both 2D and 3D.

Inexpensive. Full 1080p HD in 2D and 3D. Three-chip LCD means no rainbow effect. Two HDMI connectors with one MHL-enabled.

No 3D glasses included.

The Epson PowerLite Home Cinema 2030 is an impressively capable projector for the price, particularly if you want it for 2D only. If you want to use it for 3D, the extra cost of the glasses effectively raises the price, but that's offset somewhat by a...

Epson PowerLite 1761W Multimedia Projector

The Epson PowerLite 1761W Multimedia Projector is slim and ultra-light, offers very good data and video image quality, and provides solid connectivity choices including Wi-Fi.

Slim and ultra-light. Good price for its capabilities. Excellent data and video image quality.

Traces of tinting in some data images. Sound system could be louder.

Epson PowerLite Pilot

The Epson PowerLite Pilot provides an extra set of easy-to-reach ports for permanently mounted Epson projectors.

For select Epson projectors, makes switching sources, controlling audio, and turning power on and off quick and easy.

Needs a separate cable to the projector for each source. Comes without cables.

Epson PowerLite Presenter

The Epson PowerLite Presenter is a business projector that even includes its own built-in DVD player.

Bright, high-quality image for data projection. Built-in DVD player. WXGA (1,280 by 800). Reads USB memory keys.

Can't control the computer's mouse pointer or page through a computer presentation using the projector's remote.

Epson PowerLite Home Cinema 2040 Review

Solid image quality and a decently quiet fan, a good home theater option

Very good image quality and colors, full HD

Dim lamp, not a great choice for well lit rooms

The PowerLite offers top notch image quality at a reasonable price. You can get a little bit more performance out of the Editors' Choice Award winning , but if that isn't available, or you find the PowerLite on sale, it won't disappoint.

Excellent Choice

The Projector is a fine product, especially for this price. It arrives well-packaged, is lightweight, well protected and easy to carry in the case provided. While the sound is fine for a small group of people, if using for a little larger group (10-12...
