The budget-priced Epson PowerLite Home Cinema 500 2D home entertainment projector delivers a bright, rainbow-free image, but at less-than-720p resolution.

Inexpensive. LCD engine means no rainbow artifacts. Bright enough to use in a living room or family room

Native resolution is only 800 by 600. No 3D capability

You don't have to look any further than the $379 price to know that the Epson PowerLite Home Cinema 500 isn't a top-tier home theater projector. In fact, it's not really a home theater projector at all, and it barely qualifies as a home entertainment...
