Dell M900HD review

Tiny Wi-Fi business beamer for any laptop, tablet or smartphone

Travel-friendly ; Media player software ; Wi-Fi, WiDi, Miracast & apps ; Reliable images & audio ; 2GB built-in flash storage

Credit card-sized remote ; Average contrast ; Works best in blackout ; No D-sub VGA input

It's not the brightest projector on the block and nor is it totally adept with video. However, if you're looking for a convenient and portable all-rounder for life on the road - or around an office block - Dell's M900HD is hard to beat. If Dell really...

Dell M900HD review

It's expensive, but this is a great portable projector if you want to project wirelessly

The Dell M900HD is a great portable projector, and the ability to project wirelessly via the M900HD’s own Wi-Fi network gives it a huge edge over its rivals. It comes at a big expense, though, as the Best Buy-winning Optoma ML550 is much cheaper and...

The Dell M900HD is incredibly portable, and very convenient if you have a suitably equipped laptop, phone or tablet. It does get pretty hot, and a few more ANSI lumens would increase its versatility. Nonetheless, it compares very favourably to other...

Dell M900HD

The Dell M900HD is a small, featherweight projector that's brighter than most of the LED-based mini-projectors we've seen in recent years.

Small, lightweight, and easily portable. Brighter than most LED projectors. WiFi connectivity. USB direct. Can run presentations from USB thumb drives and SD cards. Very long lamp life.

Shows scaling artifacts at its claimed native resolution. Rainbow effect in video. Soft audio.

If you need a bit more brightness than a palmtop or similar mini-projector can offer, the Dell M900HD provides it--albeit at a considerably higher price--while remaining fairly small and lightweight. Its image quality is suitable for typical...
