Nonexistent Customer Service

None

Issues setting up 3 monitors each connected to its own ENMUV-2 adapter. Tried contacting customer support via phone repeatedly for several weeks to no avail. Email support was not helpful. The last correspodence closed with "For further information,...

It works, but not perfectly

The cons are annoying but not deal breakers. The adapter has allowed me to add a third monitor to a laptop that can't run three monitors.

Added a third monitor - running at 1920x1080 - to my work laptop since the onboard graphics only support two monitors. I only needed it for basic applications

Utilizes about 30% CPU on a Core2 Duo when dragging a window around the screen powered by the adapter. Approximately the same usage when playing a video ; When my laptop (Dell Inspiron 6500, Win 7 x64) turns off the monitors due to power saving...

Bugged drivers

Tried a few different brands of external USB video adapters with 0 issues. Only this one causes stability issues and constant BSOD.

Nothing good to say

The drivers have well documented bugs which cause windows to BSOD on any video state change (lock terminal, go to sleep, etc). I have tested this with nvidia and with ATI video cards in various models of Dell and Toshiba systems. Online research at the...

It just works

I chose this adapter for two reasons: the high ratings on Newegg, and the fact that I was assured it would work on Windows 7 x64. It has worked very well so far; I've had no issues. I'm using this on an HP business class machine to run a 3rd monitor...

Works on x64 Windows 7

None so far

Great card for office work

I love this card. I have one at work and two for home. Don't think about using it for gaming, but I use it in my recording studio just fine. Mine have been very solid and work great for general office work

I can't think of any cons to this card. I suppose it could be more robust, but who can complain when considering how inexpensive these are

Works

Have 2 of these along with GPU for a 4 monitor set up. Works great for multitasking. Can't go back to just 2 monitors. Wish i had the desk space for a few more of these

works as intended

can be a little touchy sometimes

Works Well

I didn't have the most up-to-date drivers for my video card so the initial install crashed my machine, hard. I had to do a system restore to get it back. Make sure your drivers are current. Also, the newest drivers support MS Server 2008.

Works well with a 22" monitor at its highest rez

Initial install crashed my machine. English in the manual is horrible

Does what it needs to.

Plugged into a laptop driving an HD monitor off of HDMI plus the built in screen plus a 19" 1280 monitor plugged into this. I hunted trying to find a USB docking station that didn't sound like a disaster area and never found one. This is the end...

Installation was completely standard for win7. No weirdness ; For regular "business" applications, I see little difference between this and plugging in to my laptop directly ; So far, just plain works ; After hours of running, it is barely warm to the...

To quibble: You get a screen flash when you first log in as it finds the adapter, but that's just once

Solid product, good response time.

I use the display link monitor for programming IDE, MS Office, etc...

It provides a sharp 1920 x 1080 picture. Even played netflix pretty smoothly on it

1 egg for the occasional "hiccup" when I move my cursor to that monitor or when refreshing the entire screen with new content

Works right out of the box ...

Running Win7 64-bit Dell E6500 laptop with two external monitors already (using docking station), needed a 3rd monitor. Installed driver via CD, then plugged in adapter and Win7 saw it right away. Configured it just like any other monitor. Works...

When the driver was loaded the first time, all my windows went to a smaller size, as if they were going from the 24" display (primary) to the 22" new display
