Aiptek PocketCinema V10 review

If this pico-projector proves anything, it's that we're in for a treat. One day, anyway…

Fits in your pocket ; Internal MPEG-4 playback

No keystoning ; Pricey

A great idea, however it's not quite the real deal

Aiptek Pocket Cinema V10 review

You can use the Aiptek Pocket Cinema V10 to project still or moving images, either stored on its built-in 1GB memory or from an inserted SD card.

While the concept looks good, the Aiptek Pocket Cinema V10 fails to impress in action. It can produce a creditable picture of limited size with fairly realistic colours, but only in near-total blackout conditions. At a price of almost £300 it only...

Aiptek Pocket Cinema V10 review

One of the gadgets we've always fancied is a mobile phone with a film projector built in. The Pocket Cinema V10 is the next best thing: a battery powered, palm-sized portable projector that you can use anywhere.

Is that a film in your pocket? Fun, up to a point.

Aiptek Pocket Cinema V10

Size isn't everything when it comes to a compact projector that doesn't quite make the grade

Compact; USB connection; versatile

Not bright; poor video quality; AV connectivity

Technology and size go hand in hand, it seems: as one advances the other reduces. Such is the case with the Aiptek Pocket Cinema V10, a mobile projector that incorporates a 3-in-1 card reader, 1GB of internal storage and multimedia player compatibility...

Aiptek PocketCinema V10 mini projector Review

Projectors are nothing new but the ones that you could carry inside your pockets are. Aiptek is one of the first to introduce this new technology that utilizes LED light to shrink the dimensions of the projector.

Aiptek PocketCinema V10 Plus

The versatile Aiptek PocketCinema V10 Plus pico projector ($359 as of January 11, 2010) has features that its rivals lack, along with some limitations. Its best attribute is its ability to display presentations, photos, and videos without being...

32GB SDHC card slot ; Built-in media player/recorder with 4GB of memory

Lacks VGA support ; Mediocre image quality

The PocketCinema V10 Plus is an extremely versatile stand-alone pico projector, but its image quality is undistinguished.
