not worth free

I can't even find anyone who wants it for free

works pretty well if you only need 1'x1' image in a completely dark room

will only focus for screen sizes 1' and smaller

Product did not work for me

You will not get your money back from newegg.

Compact size of the unit although the tripod will make it a little bulky to carry it around. Especially considering you already have a note book your bag

Could not get it to work with multiple tries and spending lot of time. Aiptek customer support was not helpful at all

Great, except the BSODs

I am not unsympathetic to the fact that its no easy task to craft a driver which is to deal with all situations in which a nearly obsolete VGA-resolution USB video device is suddenly hot switched/turned on while a 720p HD single-display system is...

Fit the use I had in mind for short-throw, near field AR. Got it on sale

The thing works well hardware-wise, but causes many, many BSOD on my Win7 x64 system and GPU combination. The only way I've gotten it to NOT instantly crash my system every time I use it is to uninstall the 1st driver needed, found right in the unit in...

It's ****

I saw the first review, figured the second guy got a bum unit and rolled the dice. It's [NOT GOOD] though. Maybe if you really tried it on XP or Vista.... but why? I'll try it on an XP laptop at work tomorrow, but.... this is probably straight [NOT...

Can work to illuminate a 1 square inch section of surface. Dimly

Crashed my Win7 ATI graphics dual monitor system ; Crashed my Win7 Intel laptop with 0 extra monitors ; No driver on website

Solid projector for the price but...

Overall, a good buy for the price I got it for ($80 & free shipping). I wouldn't buy it for anymore though (I'd go for a more expensive one next time).

Got it cheap on Black Friday. Works great in the dark

Doesn't work at all with any outside light in the working area ; If used for 5-10 minutes at a time for watching movies, it will randomly stop working and project in a "slideshow" manner. Also when it did this, it would only project 1/4 of the screen ;...

newegg won't issue refund for this garbage

The only reason I am giving it one egg is because you have to for the review to take. It is not worth one egg.

Attractive although completely non-functional

Does not project image such that humans can view. Beware this piece of garbage; completely unusable. All you will do if you buy this thing is give newegg a $100 for nothing. They obviously know this is garbage because they will not issue a refund for...

Aiptek is a great company...

However, Aiptek is a good company, and actually has other models meant for the task. They even have a projector/camcorder combo haha. Good Luck all!

Aipteks T20 is a wonderful projector. It is pretty small, and I am amazed how cheap it is here on NewEgg in the first place. It comes with a stand that is actually easy to use, and I believe all the other models made by Aiptek use the same one. After...

The problem was I wanted to play actual Cinematic Videos on this little projector. Unfortunately, the video isn't that great for such a task, and I was slightly bummed
