Really i wanted it to look dotmatrixey, but it couldnt do that, but instead tried to be something its not. It really was a pain to setup, as i eventually found you have to go into "devices and printers" then "add printer" then "local printer" then you...

- Wont get ripped off by ink scams propagated by all other printing technologies. - Probably alot more reliable than modern printers

- Loud - Normal paper has to be hand fed one at a time - Its grabs the paper sitting in the tray, but doesnt always do so correctly so everything can get skewed or sometimes crumpled. - Slow - Deforms the paper - Print quality seems pretty low by...

If you have to have dot matrix... these are good.

 

We use these for invoicing and printing BOL's where you need the impact to make multiple copies. I may have purchased 4 or so over the last 10 years and we use two of them every day 5 days a week and they always get the job done.

Great printer for the price. It is difficult to find printers that are still DOS compatible.

Economical DOS compatible parallel printer. Size is not too large to have on a shelf near my other equipment. Very reliable printer

GREAT PRINTER

 

This is a very good printer and does the job I need. However, the only cartridge Office Depot has for this printer is an off brand which I refuse to purchase. This is a disappointment for me.
