Kodak ESP 5250 all-in-one printer

By Doug Harman (pocket-lint.com)

A printer that can save you money?

Easy to set-up, even the Wi-Fi printing, good photo print quality, good "laser-like" text output, good scans

Kodak ESP 5250 review

By Niall Magennis (cnet.co.uk)

Although the Kodak ESP 5250 all-in-one inkjet printer isn't massively fast and its print quality is pretty average, it's very cheap to run. It could be a good option if you're not a demanding user and need to keep costs down.

Cheap to run ; Good scanning quality ; Integrated Wi-Fi ; Fast copier function

Slow print speeds ; Colours could be deeper

Overall, the Kodak ESP 5250 is decent. Its print speed and output quality aren't up there with the very best models, but it really does impress with its low running costs. If you're willing to make a slight compromise on speed and quality in order to...

Kodak ESP 5250 review

By Robin Morris (pcadvisor.co.uk)

The Kodak ESP 5250 is a tried-and-tested multifunction colour inkjet printer that's been with us for some time.

The Kodak ESP 5250 does a good job of proving the consistency of Kodak's product look and feel. This is a slick update of older technology. However, despite the odd improvement – the hinged LCD screen, for instance – there's little here that the Kodak...

The 5250 is marginally faster, but the C310's print quality is better. Unless the larger LCD is vital, one of the newer models should fit.

Kodak ESP 5250 review

By (expertreviews.co.uk)

Unlike most wireless MFPs, Kodak's ESP 5250 doesn't have to be connected to a PC to be configured.

Despite excellent networking features and reasonable print costs, mediocre print quality makes this an average MFP.

Kodak ESP 5250 - Wireless All-in-One Inkjet

By Simon Williams (trustedreviews.com)

Kodak adds wireless, but not much else, to this refreshed all-in-one printer.

When you compare the ESP 5250 with its immediate predecessor, the ESP 5, you can see you pay highly for the wireless connection. You lose CompactFlash and USB/PictBridge sockets and have to live with a considerably smaller LCD screen. At Internet...

Ultimately you'd get better value buying the ESP 5 and adding a separate wireless adapter.

Kodak ESP 5250 Review

By Robin Morris (macworld.co.uk)

The ESP 5250 is a tried and tested model that's been with us for some time, it's is marginally faster than the C310, but the C310's print quality is better

While the other printers are from Kodak's newer range, the ESP 5250 is a tried and tested model that's been with us for some time. Now priced at around the £80 mark on Kodak's online shop (although you can shave another £5 or so from this tag by...

Given its age, it's surprising how seamlessly the Kodak slips into place alongside the C310 and 2170. Visually, it's very close in design to the C310. Not exactly a small printer, it nonetheless has the same modest black casing, once again enlivened by...

A Kodak All-in-One : Kodak ESP5250 all-in-one inkjet printer

By mfereday (gadgetspeak.com)

It has been a while since I last looked at a Kodak printer but the company's promotion regarding cost saving provides the ideal opportunity to check out one of the company's models.

After adding some colour to the text and a 10 x 15cm colour image, I ran the three print modes again. Draft produced 15ppm, Normal reached 5ppm and Best took its time with 2ppm. It was noticeable that the improvement in the image quality over the three...

Kodak ESP 5250 review

By Jon L Jacobi (techworld.com)

The Kodak ESP 5250 All-in-One colour inkjet multifunction printer costs only £160 and includes Wi-Fi connectivity - a nice feature to have at this price point.

Although the Wi-Fi in the Kodak ESP 5250 is tempting, other than that this MFP is an unremarkable device that happens to have very inexpensive inks. While it would fit nicely into a light-duty environment, other models in this price range are faster or...

Kodak - ESP 5250

By (itreviews.co.uk)

It's been hard to escape the onslaught of Kodak TV advertisements recently that stress the cost savings in ink usage by using a Kodak All-in-One printer, and it's not just ink savings that are stressed in ...

Kodak's upgrade for the ESP 5 is a curious trade-off in order to keep the price low, losing memory card and USB input options and gaining Wi-Fi and a marked improvement in photo quality.

Kodak ESP 5250 All-in-One Printer

By Jon L. Jacobi (pcworld.com)

The Kodak ESP 5250 All-in-One color inkjet multifunction printer costs only $150 (as of February 5, 2010) and includes Wi-Fi connectivity--a nice feature to have at this price point. Otherwise, it's essentially the same average-quality, slightly...

Low purchase price ; Superlow ink costs ; Wi-Fi connectivity

Grainy-looking prints on plain paper ; Slow at printing and copying ; Meager manual-duplexing help for Mac users

The 5250's wireless functionality is a nice touch, but the MFP itself is slow and minimally featured otherwise.

It's best for light-duty school or home use.
