Very much an entry-level multifunction right down to its finishing, the F2280 from HP features a very simple look, with a sober white and gray case, no LCD screen and just a couple of controls on the printer itself
Cheap to buy, High quality office printing
Single cartridge = wasted ink, Visible ink drops on photos, Pretty slow, Expensive ink, Noisy
Every inch the budget all-in-one printer, the HP F2280 can produce good office printing. Its poor color handling, expensive cartridges and very noisy operation are pretty inexcusable though.

Good photo printing quality, front paper tray
Slow, expensive to run, poor text printing quality
Even if you're looking for a cheap-as-chips multifunction, the F2280 isn't necessarily a compelling choice. It's slow and noisy, and text quality isn't that great. However, if you need a cheap solution for printing the odd photo then this unit does ...

A multifunction printer family-oriented, easy to install, a much more affordable price of sixty euros .
Easy to use and installation, quality, price,
No PictBridge USB port, No card reader, dual cartridges, power supply separator ,
To print, scan and copy with ease and without ruin, nothing beats a basic model .
It's time for HP, just before the beginning of September 2008, to introduce...

We bought this 3-in1 as space can be limited at home, and given that it was priced the same as a regular printer, we thought we would be getting 3 for the price of 1! Bargain!
Good value for money, 3 functions in 1, good quality printing and scanning, straight forward use
Jams paper every so often which isn't easy to get out, takes a long time to send signal to print

For what it does it's amazingly cheap - the print and scans are more than adequate.
Software too intrusive - same with all HP products. I just want hardware that prints and scans and copies, not a never ending series of tours, updates and yet more files - I want to assign my own deposit files, that's it!!!

would be good to send out with a 3 prong plug & not a continental two prong plug
