This review is more a plus for the speed at which this printer was delivered. I placed my order on Wednesday afternoon and had recieved the printer plus had it set up and printing by Thursday afternoon. Make sure you have a U.S.B. cable to hand however.

Canon PIXMA iX4000 review

By Doug Harman (pocket-lint.com)

The Canon PIXMA iX5000 is am A3+ thermal inkjet printer designed to provide a cost effective and speedy printer for the small office or home office. Like the iX4000 before it, it has 4800x1200dpi printing with 2-picolitre (two billionth's of litre)...

Excellent photo print quality, good text and speedy output

Slow set up, similar driver issues to sibling, iX4000, during set up

At the £329 price point and speedy output times, it’s good value for money even if it is big sat on the desk.

The Canon FINE (Full-Photolithography Nozzle Engineering) print head technology is used to create extremely accurate nozzles for the ink droplets to pass through. It uses four cyan, magenta, yellow and black ChromaLife100 dye-based single inks with...

Canon PIXMA iX4000 printer review

By Doug Harman (pocket-lint.com)

The Canon PIXMA iX4000 provides a neat feature set in terms of both the paper it can handle and the speed of the output, although as we'll see it's not quite as fast as Canon make out. The iX4000 has 4800x1200dpi printing with 2-picolitre (two...

Excellent photo print quality, good text and speedy output

Slow set up, driver issues during set up

At the sub £250 price point it makes it great value for money and although it takes up a fair old slide of table top real estate, makes for a versatile addition to any office or home office

You get a high capacity black, then the "usual" cyan, magenta and yellow inks. In terms of connectivity, the iX4000 has PictBridge compatibility for those digital camera equipped with it (and Canon cameras do) and a USB2.0 port, though disappointingly,...

Canon iX4000

By WDC Team (whatdigitalcamera.com)

Canon's latest A3 printer is the first under the Pixma banner........

The Pixma iX4000 is well priced and easy to operate, as well as quick of the mark at churning out those pages. Unfortunately it suffers in comparison to the 6+ ink machines.
