I use the printer for my small business, printing off invoices and sales documentation with some small colour images. I have only had it for a few days and replaces my old inkjet printer.

Only just set up this printer today. Used the ethernet socket to connect to my BT home hub and can print from both my XP PC and Vista laptop from anywhere within wireless range.

Canon i-SENSYS LBP5050n review

By Robin Morris (pcadvisor.co.uk)

With a price tag close to that of the mono Brother HL-5340D, the Canon i-SENSYS LBP5050n colour laser printer looks a bargain. And so it is, as long as you're prepared to put up with a few compromises.

The Canon i-SENSYS LBP5050n isn't without its flaws, but overall this is a very commendable printer. The quality is good - very good on text - and even if the specifications don't compare with those of other colour lasers, the price tag is sufficiently...

Canon i-SENSYS LBP5050 Colour Laser

By Simon Williams (trustedreviews.com)

If you've a budget of £150 and want a colour laser printer, then Canon's i-SENSYS LBP5050 is worth a look.

If you're considering a colour laser printer for personal use and have both this Canon i-SENSYS LBP5050 and the HP LaserJet CP1515n on your shortlist, you should see slightly quicker and slightly cheaper prints from the Canon machine, but marginally...

Canon i-Sensys LBP5050n review

By (expertreviews.co.uk)

This is the USB-only printer in Canon's LBP5050 colour laser range, which we originally looked at when it first launched in 2008. All the printers based around the LBP5050 hardware have come down in both price and running costs since their original...

With a low TCO and colour at the speed of mono, the LBP5050 is a great colour laser if you don't need network support.

A good printer, but nothing outstanding in speed or features to separate it from the pack.

Canon i-SENSYS LBP5050

By Dave Stevenson (pcpro.co.uk)

Canon's compact colour laser printer produces great quality prints, but how does it fare elsewhere?

Cleverly designed and capable of superb results, the Canon narrowly misses out on a recommendation due to high running costs

Canon i-SENSYS LBP 5050n

By paul_smart (gadgetspeak.com)

Award: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

A colour laser printer with an RRP of less than £200 surely is worthy of further investigation. The size is not that large something that earlier printers could not say and it prints quite quickly without colour pages printing at ¼ speed.

The Canon i-SENSYS LBP 5050n is 38x4325cm and as printed pages are delivered face down on the top of the unit no extra space is required. It weights around 18kilos so should be easily moveable if required. When I removed it from the box I noticed there...

Canon - i-SENSYS LBP5050

By (itreviews.co.uk)

As far as laser printers go, Canon's i-SENSYS looks pretty stylish. With a curved front and two-toned cream chassis, it's a colour laser you'll want to sit proudly on your desk instead of underneath it. And ...

At £199, the LBP5050 is one of the cheaper colour lasers on the market and its compact design makes it well suited to the home office. The toner is slightly more expensive than we'd like, although it's not uncommon for printers with low price tags to...

Our only other gripe is that there's no option to add a network module at a later date, so you might want to consider spending the extra £30 and opting for the LBP5050n.

Canon's i-SENSYS LBP5050 laser printer: all-in-one toner cartridge doesn't make pages cheaper

By (pcauthority.com.au)

Cleverly designed and capable of superb results, the Canon misses out on an award mainly due to running costs

The drawback was the time to the first page, the longest of any printer: 26 seconds for a black and white page and more than half a minute for colour
