Overall printing is good, a is copying which shows no difference to the original copy being used
Rather fragile appearance and feel of the paper tray, giving the impression that it could have a relative short life ; Wating time before printing begins after telig the computer to print

It has no networking ability, but it's cheap and it has a CompactFlash card slot.
We weren't too impressed with the DCP-375CW, because of various problems during testing and the lack of some pretty useful features. Although the DCP-385C reviewed here has no wireless connection, if you're happy to connect directly, you get a...
With its widescreen LCD display, full set of memory card slots and PictBridge, dual-media paper tray and higher capacity cartridges, in most ways it's much better value.

The scanner gives good image quality. The colours tend slightly towards red, but are sharp and overall pretty accurate. But it is pretty slow on the initial preview, taking 12,75 seconds. A full scan of a 300 dpi 4x6 print only takes 11.10 seconds...
Easy of use / good ergonomics ; Low energy consumption ; Quality and speed sufficient for everyday use although the competition is better
Overall quality a notch below ; Lines visible on photo prints ; Slow ; High cost per page ; Cant take XL cartrides
The real plus point is this is a compact printer. For the rest: speed, precision and cost per page, it is down on the competition.
Canon takes 14 seconds and Epson 20. When it comes to the copier, a black and white copy takes 24.65 seconds and a colour copy less than 40 seconds.
