Brother DCP-7055W review

The Brother DCP-7055W is a budget-priced laser printer with low initial purchase price, and the ability to scan and copy too.

For remote working via notebook, tablet or smart phone, Brother's DCP-&055W mono laser 3-in-1 provides compactness, good Wi-Fi connectivity and swift printing at good quality but the low price for the unit is offset by higher ink costs.

Brother DCP-J140W review

Brother makes a truly daunting range of inkjet multifunction peripherals (MFPs), of which the DCP-J140W is one of the cheapest. An entry-level model aimed at micro businesses, it can handle basic prints, scans and copies, but there's no fax facility.

The DCP-J140W is cheap, but it's also slow to print and expensive to run

Brother DCP-J140W

Brother's DCP-J140W is a low cost all-in-one which still offers wireless printing.

Easy front-loading cartridges ; Clever use of LCD ; Good software bundle

No memory card or USB slot ; Only single paper cassette ; Inaccurate speed claims

Brother DCP-J140W review

The Brother DCP-J140W is the company's cheapest to buy inkjet multifunction printer so far, at around £54.

Brother's sub-£60 all-in-one has good Wi-Fi connectivity, a small footprint and decent standard print quality for documents and photos. But sluggish speeds and its 'stripped down' features smack too much of drastic cost-cutting.

Brother DCP-J925DW review

Brother's range of compact inkjet MFPs may have sprouted new features over the years, but their squat shape has remained instantly recognisable. That said, we did a bit of a double-take after unpacking the DCP-J925DW; while the shape and layout are...

The best of the competition have it beaten for scan and photo quality, but this is still a competent all-rounder

Brother DCP-J925DW

Brother has revamped its inkjet all-in-ones and added a J to their model numbers. The DCP-J925DW is in the vanguard of the new cohort.

Duplex print ; Touchscreen control ; Comprehensive software bundle

Fuzzy black text ; Striping in colour copies ; Flimsy paper tray

The improvements Brother has included in the DCP-J925DW are all welcome. Duplex print and CD/DVD/BD direct print are worthwhile additions, particularly in the SOHO market at which this machine's aimed. Sadly, it still lacks the print quality virtually...

A Budget Wireless Inkjet : Brother DCP-J140W

If you are looking for a budget priced All-in-One inkjet product then maybe this next offering might suit.

Adding to its range of all-in-one inkjet products, Brother has released the DCP-J140W model. This is the company’s lowest priced wireless inkjet product. It has been designed for SOHO users who need to print from a range of devices whether a computer,...

Brother DCP-195

An All In One unit at the lower end of the cost spectrum. However unlike others that have two inks this unit has four. So is this small low slung sleek unit likely to provide everything that you may need to Print, Scan and Copy.

The Brother DCP-195C all-in-one measures 37x36x15cm and cream in colour. This is a basic all in one unit that has a single line display – black on grey -. Power goes in at the back of the left side and USB connects inside the unit, the lead has a path...

Brother DCP-J925DW

A rather neat All In One (not multi function as it does not have fax) from Brother. This unit not only, prints, scans and copies but also prints photos and for good measure not only does it has USB connection but also Wi-Fi.

All in all a nice product that takes up little space the somewhat slow photo printing could be a problem but the four inks mean that if one colour is used more it can be replaced separately. Ideal for the light user and it has a sheet feeder as well as...

Brother DCP-J925DW review

The DCP-J925DW packs plenty of useful features into a clever and compact design

Compact design; high performance printing for both mono and colour; wide range of additional features

Uses just four colour inks for printing photos

Photo-specialists might prefer the Canon and Epson printers, but the features and performance of the DCP-J925DW make it a good choice for home and small business users who simply need an efficient office printer that also gives them the option of...
