Less NBA, more FIFA
Don't get us wrong, there's lots of fun to be had with NBA Street: Homecourt. The problem is that it's sometimes so arbitrary you might as well watch footage of it rather than play it. Still, its good points are really, really good.

When the original NBA Street hit the scene in 2001, it took the over-the-top basketball formula established by the NBA Jam series to the next level. Since then, enormous rim-rocking dunks, intentional fouls, and blatant goaltending have been a part of...
Rather than simply adding more content and possibly making the latest game in the Street series too complex, developer EA Canada has trimmed the fat and focused almost entirely on simplifying and perfecting the gameplay. NBA Street Homecourt is easier...

Does anyone even still remember NBA Jam? I realize that some of us gaming vets remember spending all of our allowance at the arcade playing it, and don't let someone...
Great Dunk Animation ; Graphics are top notch
Not enough game modes ; Career Mode could have been better ; What’s up with the generic create a baller

Worst of all, Homecourt just feels...dull. Maybe it's because the franchise isn't fresh anymore, and maybe it's because there's so little to really do, but it's almost a chore sometimes to enjoy the game. The AI is mediocre, as it's way too easy to...
It's almost a blessing that Homecourt Challenge is very short and can be completed quickly

When not playing Homecourt mode you can either go for Gamebreaker battle, where the aim game is to win gamebreaker points (No brainer!). Trick Battles will see you perform some of your snazziest moves in an attempt to fill your trick meter and then...
Gamebreakers look awesome; Graphically stunning; Extremly addictive gameplay
Online is too bland; Homecourt mode can get repetitive; Needs more modes on and offline
Enough with the trickery and onto the various game modes and this is one area where the game slightly suffers. In the Challenge mode you will make your very own Baller and take on the Basketball world in your bid for a very large pay check and your own...
You must play in various courts and at first you will basically face nobodies, but as you slowly progress you will start to face the more experienced players like Shaq and his mate Kobe. The main reason to play the Homecourt mode is to boost your...

Probably one of the best ever street basketball games arrives on the PS3 that takes gamers to a new level. It was inevitable that when Acclaim began to go under someone had to come up with a successful arcade basketball game worthy of the first two NBA...
the series continues to receive substantial updates and refinements that keep it fresh and exciting. NBA Street Homecourt is easily the best iteration that the series has produced, and it's one of the first 3rd party must haves for the PS3. If you...
It's visually impressive, features a great deal of gameplay, superb online features, a masterfully done soundtrack, and a ton of replay value. NBA Street Homecourt comes highly recommended.

Homecourt builds on what was offered in previous iterations with a hugely reworked animation system for extremely fluid tricks. And what's not fun about NBA Street
There is so much lacking where NBA Street V3 delivered. Why such a step backwards when the groundwork was already set

Entering the next generation in style, NBA Street brings its arcade b-ball roots to the 360 and PS3 with sweetness to spare. Homecourt puts a glossy coat of paint and trims the fat of three previous iterations, resulting in a leaner, tighter...
A well above average game of arcade basketball, hampered a bit by sub-par online and a lack of customization options. A solid purchase despite its flaws.
