BioWare looks to send it's blockbuster out with a bang

Meaty combat ; Vibrant universe ; Awesome multiplayer

Turrets ; Occasional clunky animation

Mass Effect 3

We revisit Mass Effect 3 to see what Mass Effect 3 Wii U brings to the space saga.

A gripping end to a captivating sci-fi saga. The action elements of the game have never been stronger, but Mass Effect 3 hasn’t lost its RPG-like depth or its storytelling brilliance, and as the tale builds up to its conclusion it just gets better and...

The Reapers are approaching Earth in this finale to one of the finest sci-fi gaming series ever created, so how's your Commander Shepherd going to handle it?

Exceptional in every way imaginable, you need Mass Effect 3 in your life

Mass Effect 3 review

A little less conversation and an awful lot more action for the purported climax to Bioware's space epic.

Mass Effect 3 is epic and then some, but by dispensing with so much of the roleplaying on which the series was founded in favour of often repetitive gunplay and kleptomania, it's a small step back from the greatness of its predecessor.

Mass Effect 3: Citadel Review

Replaying the Mass Effect trilogy in recent weeks has thrown the series, and what it means to gaming, into sharp relief. The tragic journey of Commander Shepard united some of history's most memorable characters across race and gender, across species...

Awesome fan service and humor ; Familiar faces and fond farewells ; Interesting, if silly, story

Cramped environments highlight combat woes ; Too few dialogue choices ; Apartment customization is shallow

For hearkening back to fond series memories, and for its heartfelt goodbye to characters we love, Citadel is Mass Effect 3's best single-player DLC and a worthy send-off to Shepard's crew.

Mass Effect 3: Citadel

Mass Effect 3 had a few troubles around its release, nothing compared to EA's recent fun with Sim City and Dead Space 3, but at the time it made waves. The biggest issue was the ending, which people felt didn't cover enough of the repercussions to the...

I loved Citadel, and I’m looking forward to going through it again with my second playthrough, seeing how it fits when integrated to the game as a whole. For the last piece of DLC in the Mass Effect trilogy, this is a perfect goodbye, and a final high...

Mass Effect 3: Citadel Review

Citadel caps off the Mass Effect trilogy with an outrageous storyline that plays exclusively to the series' diehard fandom.

Fun mix of combat and character interaction ; Abundant humor from entire cast ; Fighting alongside old squadmates is nostalgic

Lacks a strong, central narrative

Mass Effect 3: Citadel, swan song of the series, casts Shepard and friends off on one last comedic adventure, albeit in very shallow waters. It is an acknowledgment of all the fans out there who have fought alongside Normandy's crew across three games...

Mass Effect 3: Citadel review – happy ending

The last ever DLC for Mass Effect 3 sees the crew of the Normandy on shore leave, and one of the most entertaining missions of the whole series.

Unexpectedly witty script that doesn’t sacrifice the characters or the drama. Some well-staged action sequences, touching solo encounters, and an epic final party

The story and action elements are relatively brief, and the stealth sections are pretty rough. Quite a few minor bugs and glitches

BioWare really has saved the best till last with a downloadable expansion that not only justifies the expense but your faith in the Mass Effect franchise.
