Infamous 2 (PS3)

A polished performer that makes umpteen things clean?

Infamous 2 is an excellent game that allowed me to once again dust off my PS3. Like most sequels, the changes aren’t earth shattering but frankly the whole experience was a joy from start to finish. Combat, story, progression, exploration, characters...

inFamous 2 ? Review

Cole McGrath has returned to the Playstation 3 with Sucker Punch?s anticipated sequel, inFamous 2. ?InFamous 2 picks up right where the original left off in Empire City.? As Cole you are trying to make sense of the events that have just taken place,...

Infamous 2

Beyond the ravaged streets of the dilapidated Empire City, there lies a place of substantial diversity; a bustling and cultured land of light and dark, of wealth and disrepair, of hope and fear. This is New Marais, where citizens are held beneath the...

As a free-roaming title intent on affording gamers the experience of a supercharged, structure-hopping badass, Infamous 2 succeeds in a variety of ways. The addictive nature of climbing and collecting shards has returned in full force, as have the...

inFAMOUS 2

Games Xtreme jumps back into the shoes of Cole, once again to save the world by dealing with more menacing enemies and to give them a right shock!

In more ways than one, this is an electrifying game, I recommend this one highly.

inFamous 2

inFamous 2 is a mostly entertaining game that manages to succeed over its predecessor, but Sucker Punch is still yet to make an experience that's genuinely electrifying.

New Marais is well designed ; Excellent sense of scale and movement

UGC adds little for the average player ; Combat is clunky

While Sucker Punch should be applauded for its efforts (and successes) in adding user-generated content to an open world game, there's a real sense that the developer should have sorted out the foundations of its own house before inviting others to...

inFamous 2 review - shock of the new?

Sony's surly comic book star returns with a new look, new powers and a new city to save, in an open world adventure that lets you play hero or villain.

The open world city is more interesting than last time and some of the later powers do get interesting. Powerful mission editor

Unexciting combat and abilities, unreliable controls and generally bland design. Silly morality system, poor pacing, and dull characters

If anything a step back from the already generic original, with combat and powers as underdeveloped as its characters.

Infamous 2

One of the greatest superhero games to embrace the PS3.

In conclusion, Infamous 2 is the perfect sequel to a game that already was decent. Sucker Punch have definitely restored my faith in superhero games. They have done a great job in forcing you to play all aspects of the game, rather than speeding...

InFamous 2 PS3 Review

With the popularity of superheroes, it's quite surprising that more games don't take inspiration from such super powered characters. But 2009 did see the release of Activision's Prototype as well as Sony's InFamous, both of which were open-world...

Indeed, InFamous 2 is a superior game to the original. The playing environment is interesting and well laid out and Cole’s powers once again make you feel like a god in the same way anyone would if they were suddenly to be bestowed with super powers....

Infamous 2 (2011)

For fans of Infamous’ epic story, freeform adventuring and electrifying superheroics, Sucker Punch’s sprawling sequel is a perfect opportunity to slip back into Cole MacGrath’s sneakers and keep the action alive. But for pickier players hoping...
