DmC Devil May Cry Review

DMC Devil May Cry demo

Alluring world, Myriad of attack options, Fun combat

Brief

We make no secret of the fact we love action-adventure games, particularly when they are stylishly realised, and judging by the demo, Devil May Cry certainly left us wanting more – a lot more. It’s a demo well worth playing, and, if you are looking...

Devil May Cry HD Collection Review (PS3, Xbox 360)

A great collection for new and old fans alike., Hours of content., Requires some tactical approach., Fast & frantic gameplay.

Some environments look dated despite the upgrade., Lack of camera control leading to enemies being off screen., No real hints on how to advance past certain areas., Fiddly aiming.

DmC: Devil May Cry Review

DmC reboots the franchise with a needed story-heavy slasher.

Fleshed-out story, Solid humor, The grooves of combat

Devil in the detail

A spawn-again game, but a crying shame it doesn't feel a hell of a lot newer.

DmC: Devil May Cry

Dante gets a reboot. But is it still Devil May Cry?

Excellent combo chain system. Not as unforgiving as Devil May Cry 3. Dante carries everything with him, so no deciding what to take and leave behind before missions. Limbo has some crazy visuals.

Too much platforming; Devil Trigger is no longer fun to use

DmC: Devil May Cry

They Live or watch The Daily Show , then you have seen these Occupy Wall Street type topics, handled much better.  Still,  they do not detract from the part of the story concerned with evil demons, so it is easy to look past them. The game looks really...
