Featuring a dramatic storyline flavored with attitude, Battlefield: Bad Company leads gamers far from the traditional frontlines on a wild ride with a group of renegade soldiers who decide that sometimes the gratitude of a nation just isn't...

How will this fare under fire?
So much destruction on offer, great fun in multiplayer, when it works, fantastic audio experience
A step behind Call of Duty 4, Bad Company doesn't claim the top spot. But if you're tired of Soap MacTavish and the gang, then you could do a lot worse than give Bad Company the time of day

Battlefield has always been a multiplayer focused series, though obviously with the freshest entry, Battlefield: Bad Company, effort has been spent on both the single and multiplayer components. But at least in regards to the campaign mode, it seems...
Battlefield: Bad Company, with its excellent, though flawed single player campaign and intense Gold Rush multiplayer mode is pure gaming gold (joke very much intended). Bad Company certainly makes for good company on this occasion, just don't tell your...

When I saw the new trailer for Bad Company 2, I really did fall in love with it. DICE seemed to have really found a point with fast and fluid gameplay in the multiplayer aspect of the game with a good mix of vehicles and unique style of maps, that...
Great Single player ; Even Better Multiplayer
Few Modes in multiplayer to play with ; No Dedicated LAN servers ; No Listen Server
However we have seen this before with a lot of big hitting FPS games which have been released across the platform range. The multiplayer has been brilliant but the single player has been lacking. So how does Bad Company 2's Single player hold up?

A fantastic shooter that manages to expand the genre itself with a sharp story, superb visuals and destructible environs
Detailed visuals ; Tons of weapons ; MP and SP compnents ; Fully destructible environments

Bad Company has a lot going for it. The sharp SP campaign, amazing visual quality, but it's the MP that really carries it all the way through and makes the entire experience one of the finest ever created on any platform.

The Battlefield name has been around for a little while now, and EA and DICE have brought the next gen Battlefield: Bad Company to the PS3 and Xbox 360 consoles only.
Fun with Tanks ; Excellent Voice Talent
Dodgy AI ; Limited Multiplay Options
Now in the previous titles it's all been about the multiplayer game, with the single player areas just being a training ground for that. This time it's been given a proper single player game and it's actually pretty good. perhaps the best part being...

Much like the Chelsea team roster, the first-person shooter genre has become well known for being over populated and prone to under performance. However, just like the Russian-owned London football club, there is the odd genuine star turn mixed in...
Much like Black, Battlefield: Bad Company actively encourages the player (a.k.a. man-with-a-past Preston Marlowe) to utilise the teeth-jarring power of explosive force to ensure steady and superbly thrilling progress. For example, virtually any red...
So, bearing that limp sporting analogy in mind, is EA and DICE's latest offering in the longstanding Battlefield series a goal-scoring Didier Drogba or a bench-bound Steve Sidwell?

Wolf tags along with Bad Company to see if DICE's latest foray into the Battlefield series lands with a bang, or lets go in a soft whimper.
Bad Company isn't a revolution in the team-based shooter genre, but it's a great game packed with some humerous moments and solid multiplayer support. DICE's pedigree shows through once more and the lack of Conquest doesn't hinder Bad Company too much!

Prepare to be assaulted, Bad Company is as subtle as a kick in the head, and attempts to do so, visually and aurally, every step of the way. Don’t misunderstand, there’s grace, poise and balance throughout the game, but it's a gritty, explosive title...
