Assassin's Creed 2

Assassin's Creed 2 takes what some called an unfinished product of the first game and really takes things to the next level. This is the game most expected when they picked up the first. Check out our review of Assassin's Creed 2 for the PS3

Aside from the control system, this was a beautiful game that provided hours of entertainment that I thoroughly enjoyed from start to finish. I liked it so much I continued playing after the completion of the game and kept playing until I received a...

Assassin's Creed II (Xbox 360, PS3) review

History has a funny habit of repeating itself. The original Assassin's Creed was a near perfect example of videogame marketing done absolutely right. An example of how the hype-machine can be used to take a fairly average action game and sell it to...

To say the least, Assassin's Creed II is a disappointment - not because it's bad, but because we were promised so much more. Everything Ubisoft claimed they were changing has stayed the same, and what little new touches they?ve included fail to impact...

Assassin's Creed II: Battle of Forli

More like a quick scuffle

Fills a story gap ; It's cheap

Uninspired missions ; No Achievements, Trophies or items ; It's 40 minutes long

For avid Assassin's Creed fans filling in the story gap might be worth the 3 asking price, otherwise Battle of Forli is an ungenerous and forgettable addon.

Assassin's Creed 2 Review

An assassin's job is to eliminate a target with cunning stealth, blend in with a crowd, and when necessary use brute force to accomplish his objective. They live in the underbelly of society, but appear as an everyman, only to pounce on helpless prey...

The beautifully crafted Italian cities ; The epic storyline of betrayal and mystery ; Running across very valuable architecture

The clumsy, frustrating combat system ; The occasional graphic and voiceover glitches during cutscenes ; The crummy accents

Despite some frustrating combat moments, Assassin's Creed II secures its place among 2009's finest and is sure to keep you entertained well into the New Year.

Assassin's Creed II - Review

Killer

I find the new side quests are more part of the story and not some random side addition and yes Ezio is a better character. I also love the story continuation from the first at the start which helps you have more interest into what you are actually doing.

Assassin's Creed 2

More blood, violence and a better storyline makes this better than its predecessor in every aspect.

In conclusion, Assassin's Creed II improves from its predecessor by improving on the minor gameplay aspects that we believed never needed improvement, as well as adding a massive variety of options that makes the gamer feel as if he is in total...

Assassin’s Creed II

As far as original intellectual properties go, Assassin's Creed is one of this generation's great success stories, selling 8 millions copies (as of April 2009) and spawning spin-offs on multiple platforms. It hasn't all been a bed of roses however;...

Assassin's Creed 2 PS3 Review

I won't sugar coat it. For many, the first Assassin's Creed was a disappointment. It was a game of promises that insisted it was the first, true ‘next-gen' gaming experience. In many cases, it more than fulfilled expectations - with glorious vistas,...

A number of improvements over the previous ; A decent, well-paced storyline to keep the game going ; Nowhere near as repetitive as the first

Slight problems with AI, often not finding the death of a comrade suspicious ; Bizarre and jarring closing to the game ; Gameplay and controls changed very little

Assassin's Creed II (2009)

One sure sign of a great videogame is if you turn off your console, but still feel as if you’re living inside the virtual world you’ve been exploring. And after 10 minutes free-running across the crumbling rooftops of ancient Venice in Assassin’s...

Assassins Creed 2

Back to the future

Deeper, more meaningful game systems ; Varied, narrative-filled missions ; An excellent story... explained ; Villa gameplay works brilliantly

Batman's combat is better

A massive, brilliant sequel that one-ups the original in almost every way.
