Verizon Wireless XV6900

By (cnet.com)

The Verizon Wireless XV6900 is an attractive and compact smartphone with a cool touch interface. It's also equipped with Bluetooth, EV-DO, Windows Mobile 6, and a 2-megapixel camera.

The XV6900 lacks Wi-Fi, and unlike the Sprint HTC Touch, Verizon doesn't offer its entertainment services or preloaded instant messaging clients on the device.

Verizon Wireless XV6900 is a stunning smartphone with a cool touch interface and generally good performance, but the Sprint version offers a slightly better value for your money.

Review: Verizon XV6900

By Michael Oryl (mobileburn.com)

The Verizon XV6900 might look familiar to you, even in its shiny white garb. It is actually the same basic device as the HTC Touch for Sprint. We give this Windows Mobile Professional smartphone a quick once over in our review.

The white casing. After having it for less than 3 weeks it cracked by the volume switch on the left side. I did a little searching online and have been seeing that as happening to a number of people.

"Great features, but... disappointing call quality"

By rmurasaki (cnet.com)

If it weren't for the PIM features of this ph...

Great PIM features. Ability to customize alarm times (my RAZR would not allow this) as well as assign different alarm tones. Snooze. Ability to re-schedule an appointment to another date (my RAZR couldn't). Ability to use own ring tone.

Terrible call quality. Too often, either a part of the sentence drops or it gets garbled (kinda like early days of digital phones). At times, caller's voice bursts (suddenly loud) then gets soft.
