Trauma Center: New Blood Review for Wii

Trauma Center: New Blood for Wii Review - New Blood is incredibly difficult and frustrating in places, but it's still a recommended purchase if the idea of carving up skin, lasering tumours and drawing five-point stars floats your boat.

Coop operations are fun

Incredibly hard

Atlus revives its excellent surgery franchise for a second opinion on Wii

Brilliant, but too close to a second Second Opinion for our liking. Atlus really needs to take a few risks next time.

Trauma Center: New Blood (Atlus)

Two-player support is great, same brand of operating fun that we loved in Second Opinion

There is nothing new or groundbreaking here, so if you weren't a fan before, this probably won't change your mind

If you liked the excellent Second Opinion, you'll love New Blood just as much.

Trauma Center took role playing to a whole new level when it released onto the DS in what was one part Phoenix Wright one part Operation (the boardgame). While it may have started on the DS, Atlus took the hype that it got and started planning a remake...

When the first Trauma Center, Under the Knife, was released for the Nintendo DS all those years ago, it was a cult hit: removing tumors with the stylus was an amazing experience that anyone without a weak stomach could get into. When the game was...

Trauma Center remains an interesting, unique, and entertaining series, and the Wii's New Blood is remains a largely unnoticed gem amongst the leftover slag.

Saving humanity has been a core component of videogames practically since their inception, but Trauma Center: New Blood takes a unique approach to such heroism. Instead of destroying alien invaders or rescuing princesses from castles, you're tending to...

Atlus is one of Nintendo's most creative third party developers. They make games that explore new ideas, experiment with new forms of control, and challenge gamers with nearly insurmountable difficulty. Back in 2005, Trauma Center: Under the Knife was...

Atlus one-ups themselves with the first real sequel in the Trauma Center series. New Blood features an all new co-op mode and a fresh story to go with it, featuring two new doctors. This co-op comes at a price, though; Atlus made every operation...

Trauma Center: New Blood

New doctors, new operations, same great gameplay.

liCooperative mode fits perfectly ; Tremendous voice acting propels story ; Far more variety in operation types ; Caters to new players and hardcore experts

Online leaderboards feel tacked on ; Worst box art ever

So this game is basically Castlevania.
