The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword

Your favourite Zelda is usually your first. For many, come November 18, that won't be the case any longer

Above all, it demonstrates everything that Nintendo has learned about motion control in five years, revealing Twilight Princess’ basic pointing and shaking to be little more than a dry run for the real deal. It shows how far Wii has come – or should...

The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening DX

Nintendo is oft criticised for taking the easy route when using its back catalogue to make money, releasing basic editions of games first to lure in the uninitiated, then bringing the slightly improved versions later to milk peoples' wallets even more....

Zelda: Twilight Princess

It's taken me forever to complete but finish it I have – The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, is one epic game. I know it's a touch late but I feel the need to express my feelings so you'll have to excuse me.

All in all The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess largely lived up to my expectations and the positives far outweigh the negatives. It certainly hasn’t dampened my enthusiasm for future games in the series, and with the Phantom Hourglass around the...

Zelda: Twilight Princess

It's hard to argue that this has been the most hyped game for the Wii. Fans have been waiting for what seems like decades for the newest addition to the mighty Zelda series. But does it cut the mustard?

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess

With all the backlash four years ago for The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, Nintendo had to do something to bring back the core gamers to their beloved franchise. At E3 2004 Nintendo showed the first trailer for what is now known as Twilight...

This is Ocarina of Time plus, so it's not going to redefine gaming for the next 10 years. In short, Twilight Princess takes all from what has gone before it, adds a few more things and then refines them into a near perfect package. A perfect...

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess

Playing a new Zelda game is like the actual experience of a day that you've been looking forward to for a very long time - such as your grandmother's 80th surprise birthday bash. For months previous you've been eyeing up everything in exact detail,...

Midna isn't the only similarity that Twilight Princess shares with its 64-bit predecessor, especially in terms of locations and place names. From Hyrule Castle to Death Mountain and Lake Hylia, these recognisable sites and their mix of temples and...

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess

When we reviewed Ocarina of Time we rated it as the greatest videogame of all time; this is better. Nintendo have spent a decade trying to create a title of this splendour and brilliance and finally they have cracked it. The Legend of Zelda: Twilight...

The best videogame of all time? Perhaps. With the release of this and Gears of War on the XBOX 360 the industry really is seeing a new dawn of gaming brilliance. We've been totally blown away by this title from start to finish, and that takes a lot....

The Legend Of Zelda: Twilight Princess (Wii) review

Dark, mean and moody - Link's a decidedly different hero than he used to be

A Zelda game that offers as much to newcomers as it does long-time fans of the series; an outstanding adventure.

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess

When all is said and done, Twilight Princess is a brilliant, near flawless addition to the series and an easy contender for game-of-the-year.

Engaging story and brilliant art direction ; Deep and lengthy quest ; Incredibly fun and addictive gameplay

The classic formula needs an update
