Seriously? Most customizable FPS ever? Incoming offered more customization options(and a more comfortable mouse and keyboard config), and that came out in 1998

A great game you'll enjoy with control systems which make FPS games a joy to play on the Wii.

The Conduit (Wii) review

The Wii is increasingly becoming something of a wasteland for gaming enthusiasts looking for their next hardcore fix. Sega are actually one of the few publishers trying to remedy this, with titles like MadWorld and House of the Dead: Overkill being the...

At the end of the day, despite its flaws, The Conduit is undoubtedly the best Wii-exclusive First-Person Shooter, it's just a shame that particular accolade doesn't mean much. Graphical prowess is no substitute for great art design, great controls are...

The Conduit (2009)

As the Wii library is stuffed to bursting with cutesy sports sims, minigame compilations and monkeys riding go-karts, the brutal gunplay and hardcore violence of The Conduit is blessed relief from the console’s family-friendly fun. But while the...

The Conduit

The Conduit for Wii Review - The Conduit is nothing more than an occasionally attractive run of the mill FPS, backed up by a decent multiplayer mode that stands out due to the relative weakness the Wii has in this area.

High Voltage addresses the lack of generic shooters on Wii...

When £40 can get you second-hand copies of Metroid and Red Steel, or set you well on your way to a barebones Xbox 360, there's really no reason to invest it here.

The Conduit

The Conduit checks most of the boxes on a first-person shooter features list, but it comes together in a very bland way.

The Conduit

Outstanding controls aren't enough to save this generic and often frustrating shooter.

Great controls ; Technically impressive visuals

Monotonous levels ; Respawning enemies and invisible bombs are frustrating and cheap ; Generic art design and story ; Uneven difficulty

The Conduit

The makers of The Conduit rightly felt that PS3/Xbox 360 owners were getting a better deal than Wii owners when it came to first-person shooters. Their solution? A first-person shooter designed just for the Wii.

Responsive controls ; Nunchuk-thrown grenades actually hit their target ; Cool 'melting' weapons ; ASE is a pretty cool piece of equipment ; Terrific online multiplayer modes ; Data discs unlock skins, concept art and cheat codes

A.I isn't particularly challenging (on medium) ; Cut scenes are quite basic & expositional ; Only 9 chapters in Campaign mode ; Hard to quit while in an online match ; Still looks pretty basic compared to a 360/PS3 FPS

Short but sweet, then, but the multiplayer modes help keep you interested for a bit longer. You can customise just about everything from your appearance (Guard, Agent, Drone, Scientist) to the colour of your suit and where each individual HUD icon is...
